It was my first time eating there with my family yesterday night but believe me its the best Chinese restaurant in town. The staff and the service 5star.The owner is super friendly and ask us about the food and service. The owner allow us to finish our meal even after they close the restaurant as we haven't finished our meal. They have wide range of different dishes. Big Thanks . We ordered the Kungpao chicken and lamb and beef stir fried rice noodles. Both dishes were large and delicious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were all over getting our order and tea for the table. Would highly recommend to anyone In Rotarua.Food: 5/5
Average. Nice to have a free mooncake on the day of mid autumn festival, dumplings were really nice but DanDan noodle flavour disappointed, not spicy or Sichuan tasting at all
Some dishes are really spicy. Big portions to share. Would highly recommend the sizzling eggplants.
Been here before and the food was good. But this time round not only has the prices gone up none of the food was not made to previous standards. The red sugar jelly has an extremely unreasonable price of $9.70 per cup up by $5. Would not recommend to anyone coming here.
Food was amazing but the service was not so great to start with but got better once we managed to get a table.
Wife loves the Sichuan dishes so we always stopped by in Hamilton on the way to AKL and back. Finding the same restaurant in Rotorua was a treat, and got a chance to try this unique beer which was oddly great! Worth trying the beer so ask the charismatic but very kind boss man for it.

I took my son for a mother son dinner they were really nice. Portion was worth the money and taste was omg to die for I had Wong tong soup it was Update 9/01/23 Just went and ordered wonton soup and dumplings with vegi it was HOT and fresh when we got home. I was surprised to see a Sichuan restaurant in Rotorua and had to try it. The flavors were good but unfortunately they served us very stale chicken that seemed like it had been refried multiple times. Moreover this was a $44 dish and only had bones in it. There was hardly any meat. The service was also really poor and we had to keep asking for napkins, silverware, water, and other basics. Go here if you’re really craving Sichuan food but be ready to feel ripped off in terms of the value for your money.
