Ever since the discovery of Shougun in Carillon city arcade’s basement food court. I’ve been spending most of my lunchtime having their lunch specials. Daniel the owner is very friendly and I can say his daily specials are amazing and very reasonably priced! Every Thursday he makes Rochor Mee and we requested that we would like lobster on top! That made my Thursday lunch time highlight.  **lobster can be added on any dishes you just have to speak to Daniel at least a day prior and it’s dependent on availability!

While this place serves Japanese food. The secret is that It is actually run by Malaysian/Singaporean chef. So each day there's a special Singaporean/Malaysian dish. Check out their Instagram and text them to know what their specials are for the day!Food: 5/5

One of the hidden gem in CBD for delicious Singaporean & Malaysian hawker food. While the shop is named Japanese, the daily specials are Malaysian and Singapore’s popular food at a decent price. I found the taste authentic, and if you asked, some dishes also come with their special chilli sauces. Chef Dan is one of the hardest working chef owners I know, personally doing delivery for all the orders across the Perth suburbs during lunch and dinner.  Tip: the queue and wait time can start to get quite long during peak lunch time because of their success, so you can preorder via phone or WhatsApp Chef Dan or the restaurant beforehand to save some time

decent spot for lunch or early dinner, with still decent prices. they used to be really good though, these days are just so-so. i do still drop by once in awhile just before they close - to get the discounted packed meals of what's available left

Cautionry tale, thought I’d try a new Japanese style restaurant for lunch in which my food was ok. No complaints however if you’d like a set of chopsticks expect to pay 20c well if they inform you and not just charge you without saying anything.  I would prefer to be informed about an added expense over find out later once I’ve payed. Don’t appreciate it.

I had been eating at this place nearly once or 3 times a week. And lots of my colleagues eat there too.  Kid-friendliness: It&#39;s a food court so kids to adults are re all welcome.

Sushi packs are Cheap n not quite Nasty  Visually disappointing and like eating 5hr old refrigerated sushiFood: 2/5

This place has been a favourite of mine for a long time, their bentos are delicious and very filling. 10/10

A hidden gem in the city for amazing Singaporean hawker food! The owner Daniel runs a daily local specials menu, featuring hawker faves such as prawn & ribs noodle soup, bak chor mee, rochor noodles, katong laksa, etc. Shogun's version of prawn and ribs noodle soup is one of the best we've ever had, which has a rich prawn infused broth and melt-in-your-mouth ribs... so so good!
