If anyone wants quality or service, steer clear of Shoes Direct in Sydney Rd Brunswick. I took back a pair of boots which had a cracked sole after 3 months' wear and was told "They're not gumboots you know. You wore them in the rain. You're not supposed to run in them. That's why the sole cracked." Excuse me? What are they? Slippers? As I didn't have my receipt they offered me 10% off another pair. Really generous, that.
