We ordered coffee for the three of us and waited for a fair bit for the coffees to arrive although there were only handful of customers in the cafe. Staff started to collect salt and pepper shakers off the tables while people were still sitting. Coffee was OK, it is an average place, nothing special just another Cafe in a shopping centre.
Service is average, orders come out timely but they are expensive and everything is a surcharge. Last time I came here and ordered banana bread they asked if I wanted it heated, I said yes and it was added as a charge. This time there was an Extra 70 cents for marshmallow on a babycino. If you are in a rush not a bad spot but wouldn’t go out of my way for it there are better places.
Please don't come here. I made the mistake of coming here with my boyfriend because a brunch place we had planned to go to was closed so we just picked any random one without looking up reviews. We ordered pancakes basically pikelets from woolies, eggs florentine badly poached eggs like it was honestly just hard boiled + hollandaise sauce tasted not very fresh... we ordered this at around 9:15 mind you... + the bread underneath was extremely tough, sinner fries hardly any bacon bits, portion was tiny and a banana blast this was the biggest rip off, costing us 8$ and tasting like only banana + coconut water with the consistency being basically just water and looking like milky water. Spent almost 50$ there and was definitely not worth it. Please take your money elsewhere until they either re-adjust their prices they're literally charging you surry hills brunch prices for food that you could make at home with 0 cooking experience or improve their cooking skills. I normally hate writing bad reviews as I am currently a Uni student that works in retail and I know how horrible it feels to be treated poorly but I believe this review is justified and I hope that someone in management sees this so that they can improve their current standards. You are blatantly ripping people off and that is not right.
I have high expectations when I buy a coffee. This is without a doubt the best coffee at Roselands. I will be sure to come back again. Staff is friendly. No surcharge for eftpos!
I think here is okay but highly over priced. One thing i hate comes 2pm and the staff start taking everything of the tables salt pepper, sugar even if you have ordered something they still take everything of the table away like honestly very rude.
Orders have been stuffed up three times not only mine but others on this Saturday afternoon. At this place Shingle Inn. Poor service , hardly speak English
Horrible cold Eggs Benedict ..$27.00 waste of $$.Fish & Chips for $17 was a small ridiculous size.Waiters unfriendly n lack of English.Never ever again..do not waste your $$$ here.
Best coffee , friendly service but the price is too expensive and the food is average
Caesar salad was pricy and drowned in dressing. Poor effort
