I am very disappointed in Shine Boutiques return policy for faulty/ damaged merchandise 
I recently bought a dress for my daughter 
When she first tried it on we noticed the back of the dress was damaged making it unwearable 
I returned the dress as soon as I could. Even though you could clearly tell the dress had never been worn or washed they would not replace the dress. Instead they had to send it back to the manufacturer to see “who was at fault “
They said they would contact me a couple of days later to advise me of the outcome 
They did not contact me, I had to call them. They said the dress would be replaced 
I asked it the replacement dress could be posted to me. However they said I would have to pay the $8 postage 
I think they should remove the Fair trading policy they have stuck to their counter they clearly don’t follow it
It is disappointing as they do have some nice clothes however I won’t be shopping there again because of the way this was handled

This place does have some good fasionable cloths with a nice boutique experience. The staff are friendly and helpfull. They only catour for sizes 10 if you are a 12 you may find one or two thing but anything bigger is a no go.

Would highly recommend going else where! A couple of weeks ago I went to purchase a dress from the Alex store once trying on the dress I came across fault in the dress which was cause due to the manufacture. I advised the staff who said he could drop 5$ of the price I didn't want it so I left it I phoned up the next day to find out the code to see if the other 2 stores had it the lady working wouldn't tell me and proceeded to tell me she could fix this herself she is a sewer she can fix it she also said that the stores only got a size of each  spread through out the 3 stores on the coast. So I decided to go see it the next day with my sister to see if it looked fine what she had fixed you could tell as the way it sat and the beading was hanging off on one side I didn't want it. Without know my partner went and purchased the dress to surprise me... Long Story short, I contacted them the next day after and the same worker who I showed the fault to in the first placed tried coming up with excuses left right and centre even said to my face that I told him I sewed it myself, I was fat broke it, swearing at my partner friend and myself he even went that far in coving up the refund policy that says if the product is faulty refund applicable!!!
PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE FAMILY RUN BUSINESS OUT TO MAKE MONEY EVEN GOING THAT FAR THEY WILL TRY FIX FAULTY ITEMS AND RESELL THEM TO CUSTOMERS. We have other shops which stock same clothing on the coast including in Mooloolaba and Wises road next to subway
