Great Japanese good, can take awhile to prepare but does feel fairly fresh. Decent serving size. Plenty Parking out back. Worth a visit.Food: 5/5

Took the family here and was happy I did. The service and food were fantastic. If you like Japanese cuisine or just want to try it give this place a go. Sorry I didn't take any photos, I was so hungry when the food came out I forgot.
Really nice food. Sushi wasn't all the freshest. Tempura wasn't crispy enough for my fiance but I thought it was good. Service was friendly and helpful. Very well priced for what we got. Seafood teppanyaki was amazing, never had anything like it before. It wasn't very noisy which was nice
I was excited to try this place as we just moved to the area and quite enjoy Japanese cuisine. Our go-to is normally Okami but as they aren’t open on Tuesday’s we tried this place. Ridiculous waiting times. We were there for over 3h after ordering the budget dinner banquet for 2 option. Was completely thrown back from the waiting times and got home much later then expected. Really disappointing. The food wasn’t great either. Sorry but we won’t be back. The customer service was terrible and unfortunate for a place which such potential. No one tended to our table and we had to request service.
Me and my Wife were celebrating our 30th year anniversary. And we decided to try somewhere we’ve never been before. As soon as we get there it takes 20 minutes for us to be handed our menu’s. As we wait for another 30 minutes for our order to be taken. We see waiter drop the ice cream in the bin, and pick it up and serve it. Staff walking soaking plates across the floor letting it drip straight onto the carpet. I fear for mould The food for the price was mediocre. Any of the fried food tasted just like old oil that had been used for days! One thing I can recommend is the Gyu Tataki. Raw beef served with egg Yolk served on top a delicious sauce. Sadly I was not finished with my food when they brought my very mediocre Katsu Pork that again, only tasted of oil. And cleared my food off the table before I could finish. My wife got the Sushi Bento box. She raved about the octopus. But there was a lot of undesirable food in other places. The tempura prawn was suffering harshly from the old oil taste. The fried eggplant and the potato cake, same problem. And what I believed to be Takoyaki balls were mushy and left a horrible aftertaste in our mouths that forced us to leave it half eaten. We hate wasting food, but it was truly sickening Wouldn’t Go Again!!
My experience was good service, authentic fresh food and good prices. Can’t speak for people who had to wait, but on my visit food came out nicely. Thanks guys!
I went to shiki to celebrate their 17th birthday on August the 1st. They had an amazing variety of drinks and sushi on a boat. It was honestly so hard to choose from all the options given. Also they served us with udon noodles, dimplings and also some very delicious skewers which were filled with so much flavours, loved it. For the dessert they had fresh fruits and also dorayaki. It was my first one and i fell in love with it. Loved their hospitality and the owner was just amazing.
This place is a gem, freshly made yummy food with many vegetarian/ vegan options. So much better than Okami!Food: 5/5
