Such a great spot for a picnic. It's a large park with plenty of seats and spots on the grass underneath the trees to avoid the direct sun. There is a playground for the kids, and plenty of walk and play space for dogs. Walking paths take you around the outside of the park and along the river. A great hidden spot in Sherwood.
A wonderful spot for a small get together ... morning, lunch or afternoon. Great undercover areas! Stroll by the river or just explore the amazing trees that are here.
A really nice place for a picnic. I did get eaten alive by ants though so pack insect repellent if you want to sit on a picnic blanket
Great place for picnic with friends. 30+ Rain held off, great time chatting and eating. Plenty of shade. Lovely old trees. Lots of space for a friendly stroll
