Went there with Groupon voucher . $25 for shellac manicure and paid $5 extra because I chose two colours. I was scared because of all these negative reviews. I didn’t realised these comments until I bought voucher , but I already booked, so went there anyway. Service wasn’t too bad. It’s not super warm welcoming and high quality of friendliness. But it’s super cheap deal with voucher so I wouldn’t say anything... the process was super quick and okay. Didn’t have many conversations with staff, she was just concentrated on the process. I think nails are okay, beautiful work. But as other people said, it might come off soon? Or not? Hopefully it last more than three weeks as staff said. Overall, my experience is okay and I like my nails.
Omg... This place should exist, to be honest it's absolutely crazy!. Ladies, DO NOT GET YOUR MANICURE HERE, and for the other reviews, I'd say don't get any service here. I went for Shellac manicure and pedicure. They started painting my nails without cutting the dead skin around the nail. I asked them if they were not going to do it and they said yes, after painting them... wt..?! Also I realized when I get home that the lady making the pedicure cut me, there was still blood around the nail. Seriously, this place is crazy. I'd like to be able to show how my nails ended...Like if they were painted by a 4 y.o kid. They are extremely rude, they work rushed, in conclusion, there's nothing positive about the experience I had.
Went to get SNS with one of my friends. We both had terrible experience. The ladies did not bother to clean under the nail and left the product which was very uncomfortable, nails were unevenly buffered. My friend got tips and they were not glued well, 2 nails were at all weird angle. After 3 days the product chipped on 3 nails. Not worth the money at all. Wish I could attach pictures, unable to see the icon.
This place is HORRIBLE!!! I have been getting SNS done all around Melbourne for about 3-4 years. This place is by far the absolute worst. They begun by not welcoming me at all, as if they did not want to be there. They then begun by taking off my SNS and burning me in the hot water. The girl had put the bowls in the incorrect way. Then... once the SNS had Soaked off, she did not clear the remaining layer's by filing it down, she just begun to paint over. So this meant it was all bumpy and uneven. She Proceeded and cut my fingers with her file and then when I mentioned that I was in pain and bleeding she put ACETONE on top of the raw skin, you can imagine the PAIN. She then yelled at me and said "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!". I put up with the rest of the painting and felt so uncomfortable when she was laughing about me in a different language with her co workers. She continued to demand me around by yelling. I have never felt so dissatisfied, horrified and upset. I wish I did not continue to sit there and then have to pay for the disgusting service. PLUS - I now have to go and get them re-done elsewhere, because it is uneven, half coloured, not filed and my nail is on angles. Unfortunately, I can not get my nails re-done too soon - due the large amounts of skin that the women filed off, I will need to let me hands recover.
I went in to Shen after having a headache for 2 days & terribly tense back and shoulders. I am a bookkeeper & regularly need massage to relieve the tension in my back from hours in front of the computer. Dylan gave an excellent massage. Very firm but not bruising, extremely thorough, mobilising every inch of my spine. I left feeling so much better. The massage rooms are spotlessly clean and although I could hear the ladies talking in the nail bar at the front of the shop, the massage was so good that it did not worry me at all. After trying 4 places in Port Melbourne, this was the best & I will be back.
One of the worst massages I've had! The building has recently been renovated with two massage rooms at the back of the ground level. I was in the first one and proceeded to receive a weak massage, with a second person in the room who the if you could call her that proceeded to speak to for much of the first ½ of the hour. In addition to all of this there were two ladies on the other side of the partition talking, laughing and watching youtube videos throughout the hour, as well as the owner walking and standing outside the paper thin door taking mobile phone calls throughout the hour. Lastly, seeing as everything else was so poor I had booked an hour and the lady came into the room to start the massage at 01:10 on the clock and left the room without any chance to speak at 02:07! might only be three minutes but seeing as there was no consideration for the customer through out the entire experience this was icing on the cake. Noisy, weak massage, crowded and clearly they are keen to take your money but not provide a service that matches.
No Aircon, no towels, unclean, no idea how to massage. DO NOT GO HERE! Literally the worst massage i have ever had, not sure if the person had ever done a massage before. The room was easily 35+ degrees, no aircon, i was dried with boxed tissues, and the lady had the audacity to answer a phone call while massaging me. If i could give zero stars i would
Ruby is incredible, not only did she remove some very sore, poorly applied lashes not from shen She also soothed the pain and applied a new set of beautiful cat eye classic lashes, they are just what I wanted. My shellac mani pedi is also incredible and the care taken was the best I have experienced in Melbourne.
The experience I personally had at this nail salon was appalling to say the very least!!!!!!!!!!!! I had my nails done and within 3 days two nails chipped. It was the worst SNS experience that I have experienced in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I went in to get the chipped nails repaired the nail technician questioned my honesty and integrity and implied that I was being dishonest. I was extremely angry at her response and when I confronted her about her unprofessional remarks she got aggressive and stood up and started yelling at me in front of the other 2 clients that were sitting next to me. I couldn't even understand what she was yelling due to her strong Vietnamese accent. She then stormed off and slammed the door really hard behind her. I felt frightened, angry and embarrassed because the other two clients were exposed to this unfortunate situation. The Vietnamese nail technician then came back and I asked her to provide me with the business owner's telephone number who is Dr Shen but she refused to give me his mobile number. She then proceeded to tell me that she can give me the mobile phone number of her direct manager named Ruby. I wrote down the mobile number and then messaged Ruby my grievance briefly. She totally ignored me but the messages showed as read. I then tried calling Ruby but she didn't answer my call on 2 occasions. I then messaged Ruby to tell her that this is going to be presented on A Current Affair. I was ignored a third time. I AM REPULSED BY THIS NAIL SALON TO SAY THE VERY LEAST AND I HAVE THIS FINAL MESSAGE FOR THESE LURVELY NAIL TECHNICIANS - DON'T FORGET TO GREET ME WHEN I VISIT YOUR PROFESSIONAL SALON WHEN I TURN UP WITH THE MEDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't go here. I made an appointment yet still waited for 40 minutes! Worst part is the shellac started chipping off after 2 days. I'll now have to pay for my nails again elsewhere within 1 week of just getting them done. I will stick to my regular place as it never chips off!
