I contacted Dave to fit out my walk-in robe and put up some extra shelving for me. He did a fantastic job, always on time and very reasonable with his quotes. He is a perfectionist and I was so happy with the end result. I have no hesitation in recommending Dave to do the job.
I have had Shelman woodworks Do work for me 3 times and he has not disappointed at all. Dave is honest and punctual and prices are very good his work is exceptional, I had a filing cabinet made to match my dressing table and it was perfect you would never know it wasn't a set. A lovely big laundry cupboard, and recently a deck in corner of the garden to sit my Dragon on great work couldn't fault it. Thank you Dave. 18/11/22 Terrie Bongaree
After extensive research we found Dave and what a find! Very easy to work with, always obliging, always punctual and honest. His attention to detail is wonderful to see and the finished product of a major installation of built-in cupboards and wardrobes in our old Queenslander is just great... much better than we had hoped for. At long last we have a coherent storage system to replace our hodge-podge of rickety old wardrobes. We have a few more jobs for Dave to do and we would trust him and recommend him to anyone who asks. Dave did an excellent job designing,making and installing 5 large cabinets for us. Dave is not just your average carpenter, he is a craftsman and a perfectionist ! He has done a few jobs for me now and basically created something beautiful out of thin air - couldn't recommend him highly enough !
Dave installed four budget kitchens for us in a rental complex several years ago and did such an excellent job we had no hesitation with Dave designing, building and installing the kitchen in our own home. Dave has been great with the design advice and installation of our very large kitchen. Dave is honest and reliable and produces precision and superior quality workmanship, attention to detail and an excellent job with high quality finishes epitomises Dave’s approach to every part of the job. We really did feel sorry for him during the whole process as I kept changing things around and constantly adding to the install. Dave is a very patient man! We have no hesitation in recommending him and we would certainly use him in all of our future cabinetry work.
I'm new to the area and Dave was recommended to me - Dave has been more than helpful, his workmanship is outstanding, and I've signed him up to do a few other jobs - absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anyone !
We discovered Dave after an extensive search for an experienced joiner to repair our cedar windows in our home at Bellara on site. The windows had considerable wood rot and needed integrate repairs. We are greatly impressed with the quality of Daves work and ecstatic with the repairs. We recommend him to those seeking quality timber joinery.
Dave completed a new kitchen for us. He listened to our ideas, made suggestions and came up with a great plan. I love our roll out pantry! His work is of a very high standard and he is clearly proud of his work. Couldn’t thank him enough and would absolutely recommend Dave.
Dave has done quite a lot of work for us over the past few years, including revamping our kitchen, building furniture for our entertainment area, creating beautiful pieces of recycled wooden furniture for our family room and beautiful storage cupboards for the TV room. He has just recently helped us to renovate a house that we rent out that had been damaged by the tenants. Dave has done a fabulous job in all the above areas. When I saw the terrible state in which the tenants had left the house, Dave was the first person I rang to come and help fix the damage they had done. The house now looks great. He is always reliable and very honest and trustworthy. I have recommended him to friends and they have also been extremely pleased with the work he has done for them. Dave listens to your ideas and makes suggestions and the outcomes are always successful. Dave is also very proud of his workmanship and is very professional. His prices offer value for money and for me it has always been money well spent. I believe him to be one of the best craftsman in Bribie Island and its surrounding areas. Five stars plus.
