Cam does a fantastic keto breakfast for me each time I order it and he cooks hubby's egg to perfection, turned but not hard don't see why other places can't get it right .nBook your HIGH TEA experience with all your girlfriends. Cam has over 30yrs experience and all the yummy goodies are made in-house nCam also hosts CHILDRENS PARTIES for all your little darling animals .nIn fact talk to cam for any CELEBRATION you would like to host nNot to mention the great views and excellent food and . Treat yourself nnNew coffee shop on the block! Really friendly girls. Coffee was excellent, not too bitter, just enough to make you know it's good coffee with a definite creamyness to it. Well done
Love this coffee shop on the beach very friendly staff, great coffee plus you smell the ocean roll in what can you ask for
I was entering with my best frind in wheelchair I wend to the guy in the car to ask him if his can drive him to the beach once I arrive to him the other life saving guard was on call with him on radio telling him you have wheelchair guy entering the beach he came and bring the special wheelchair for sand thank you boys for take care of everyone
There is a wheelchair accessible mat that goes out onto the sand to the area between the dunes and the surf. The surf club has a couple of beach wheelchairs that can be booked to get access to the surf. The mat does have some dips that could do with leveling as my husband was having a hard time pushing me across the dipped joins in the mat in my push wheelchair. I probably would stay on the hard mat over the dune only if I had taken my motorised wheelchair as the softer mat may have sunk down under the weight and it is terrible having to clean sand out if it. There are toilet and picnic facilities outside the surf club and a play area for younger kids that includes swings. There is an outdoor shower to wash the sand off once you have finished your time on the beach. The beach is patrolled by surf lifesavers in their red and yellow uniforms. If you swim here you need to be able to cope with waves crashing in. It's not a flat, calm surf here. Saying that, kids were able to paddle in the wash in the shallows without too much issue. The shark patrol flies over this beach. Swim between the flags and you will have a good time here. Beach and surrounds much less populated than Reddall Park on Lake Illawarra, which was our first choice of destination until we met the crowd there fighting for space. There is a takeaway food shop not far from Shellharbour Surf Lifesaving Club to get your lunch or a drink.
Shellharbour beach will be hard to beat for its beautiful sands and amazing water. Patrolled beach and canteen for snacks. Great walking path and park for the kids.
