We went there for our anniversary lunch. Was greeted by a very nice young lady. We ordered and didn't take long at all. The service was great and even had some singing in back ground which was funny we enjoyed it. Could not fault the food or service. Would definitely go back. Well done ladys keep up the great work.Food: 5/5
Friendly staff to serve you but the Canadian breakfast was alittle disappointing then add scrambled eggs were alittle dry but i actually like them like that and my chai Latte had a weird aniseed flavour to it
Friendly staff, amazing food at a great price. We had the homemade quiches and they were so tasty and the perfect size. Loved talking with Carol and can't wait till we come back next time!
If it wasn't the best poached eggs and bacon I've ever had, it's the next best. Everything cooked to perfection. Pity it was our last day in Shellharbour as we're heading back to Melbourne. Might have to fly up one day to have it again. Thank you very much team.
We love going to Country Kitchen Cafe. I had a Caeser salad today with chicken. Without a doubt it was the best one I have ever had. The staff are all lovely and it's nice to sit and watch the world go by. It really is a great place.
The service was friendly, but slow. I feel like maybe we didn't get them on a good day, having read other reviews. The food we had was "fine", although my partner felt like much beans, hashbrown wasn't homemade which he had hoped it would be... That said, to my eggs were really beautiful poached. Avo was not plentiful. Coffee was good, toilets were good, places was quite busy which might account for the wait. I feel like this place really could be great if it had been a different day had been a different order.
I left a 2 star review without a comment because I visited 7 months ago and it's stuck with me how disappointing the experience was, but I can't remember all the details now, however given that the owner has replied challenging the 'legitimacy' of this rating, I will elaborate further. Very poor customer service, not only in wait times, but also complete lack of engagement or care when we were spoken to. EFTPOS was not working that day, which I understand happens, but we were not informed of this until we went to pay upon leaving. Pancakes were actually factory made hotcakes, charged an exorbitant amount for an extra hash brown also factory made so in no way worth that amount, and a number of other disappointing things. We chose to eat there based off reviews, but I cannot understand why these were so high given the quality of our meal. If prices had been lower I would have accepted it for what it was, essentially a cheaper cafe experience, however the food in no way reflected the prices charged.
Today was Valentines Day and my Wife and I were made to feel very special by Carol, Simone and their Staff as we enjoyed lunch at our favorite restaurant, and what a great surprise to find a vase of flowers and scattered Rose petals on our table. As usual it was a great meal, coffee and service.
A great cosy place. Great menu great dining, food is always fresh and tasty. Friendly staff that's always accomodating and friendly. A nice little coffee shop. We will definitely be back.
What another beautiful breakfast at Country Kitchen. We just spent a week at The Star on The Gold Coast, the Brekky here at Country Kitchen is 100 per cent better than there!! What a pleasure it was!!
