Hosted our annual awards gala at Sheldon and Farhad and the team were exceptional! The ambiance & setup of the venue, the service and the food served were 5-star restaurant quality. All the guests surveyed on the night had a wonderful time and made comment about the setup, the wait staff and the delicious food.nWe have been regulars at Sheldon and every year the level is better than the previous year - which was amazing too! Thank you, Farhad & team - we all had an outstanding night.

I officiated a wedding at Sheldon Receptions today, and as always, it was absolutely beautiful, especially in the springtime!nThe venue is surrounded by stunning white blossom trees that make the perfect backdrop for photos. The ceremony was held in the pavilion overlooking the ornamental lake and charming bridge, such a romantic setting. Sheldon is always a pleasure to return to , elegant, well-kept, and truly one of Melbourne’s hidden gems for weddings. Highly recommend!

Arrival at the foyer, greeted by friendly staff and waiters handing out beverages and finger food. 30 minutes into a chat with friends , the staff accompanied you the your allocated table . The wedding night celebration was great, food was above the standard reception that I’ve been at, good selection of drinks and staff never hesitate in bringing you something that you requested . If I needed a reception in the near future Sheldon reception would be the perfect choice.

We had the best experience with farhad! He was very accommodating and made sure that our celebration was perfect!nWe had many compliments from our guests.  The service and quality of food was 10/10nThank you!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank  Farhad  @ Sheldon Reception for being so meticulous about every tiny detail  at my son Khizar’s Reception on the 27/3/26. I highly recommend Sheldon Reception and in particular Farhad if you are looking for an outstanding and awesome event then do consider this option because all the venues we saw were amazing and offering more or less the same perks but we opted to go with Sheldon Reception because Farhad had given a very good sales pitch and he delivered what had been promised so I give Farhad and his team a 5 star rating. Thank you for making my son’s event so special and unique.
