Story

Abu & Faye Shebani would like to welcome you to Shebani's Tastes of the Mediterranean! We love modern, and traditional, Mediterranean cuisine, and hope that you enjoy our food that has been prepared with local fresh produce to ensure the best possible flavours for you.
Take a journey to the heart of Morocco, Greece, Libya, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Lebanon as our Chef pays homage to the intriguing mixture of flavours and aromatic spices that are a feature of the Mediterranean's culture.
Our chef, Abu, was born in Libya, before travelling overseas to the Greek Island of Mykonos where he training and worked as a chef for 5 years. He has a passion for quality food with immaculate presentation, which will bring you an experience like no other!
Shebani's restaurant doesn't just celebrate the food of the Mediterranean, you can enjoy the beautiful setting indoors (or out on the deck) as you are surrounded by the colours and culture of the Mediterranean.

Lovely atmosphere both inside and on deck. Fresh, well presented and tasty Moroccan influenced food. Served by lovely helpful staff. Spotlessly clean and well cared for cafe and bathrooms.
Super clean, cosy place, good food, happy and welcoming staff, all of them. This place has a soul. Parking along the road. They have tidy facilities. Lots of lovely design features.
Really nice place to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, service was great and the food is delicious with a Mediterranean twist. The atmosphere is relaxing as is with most of Echuca. Dining is inside or outside, but I recommend outside if its a nice day. Highly recommend this as a place to try. This is a place to come back to.
Really nice atmospheric little cafe in the historic Port Precinct of Echuca, with some sidewalk tables & a courtyard. Tasty Mediterranean food, lots of variety, plus a very tempting offering of home-made cakes & cookies to have with your well-made coffee. Owner-operator-chef Abu and aa strong support staff doing a great job in a busy lunch service on an exhaustingly hot day, made us feel very welcome. Recommend.

one of the best breakfast places on the east side of australia everything is usually cooked to perfection lovely coffee and most of all lovely staff my fav is the Mediterranean eggs with bacon n relish n wow so good edit.....still the best brekkie joint in town perfect portions delishous food
Staying overnight in Echuca, travelling from Melbourne - we are so glad we had our brekkie here. The food was excellent with some kind of fusion going on in the flavors which we haven't experienced anywhere. Perfect coffee and friendly service.
