Great coffee and small but inviting eating area. Decent food selection.
Visited just after peak time on a Saturday - service was friendly, food was well prepared and tasty, and the coffee done well. Update: Pictured are the Vege Feast, and a Build your Own with the house beans. Arrived during a brunch rush, but service was still reasonably quick.

I had the full breakfast for $22. Overall the quality was good but the portions on the plate did not warrant the price. Based on cafes and quality around the area, a price at ~$16 would have been fair. Coffee was good.
Best local cafe around, been going regularly for past 5 years. A really great place to meet friends and hang out. Coffee is excellent. They do an awesome BLT. All the food I’ve had there has been really good. Staff are friendly and know how to welcome people and provide service.
The staff at Shaw Street Espresso are all excellent human beings, who care for their customers. They also do good food, quickly and effortlessly. Highly recommended.

The best and most consistent coffee shop ever. The breakfast and sandwiches are all equally amazing and full of flavour. I recommend this place to everyone.
