We had our work Xmas party here, to be quite honest, I never knew this venue existed. To my surprise, the food isn’t bad and the staff were even better. Great little menu, they do lunch and dinner so do try to make a date night out of it. The highlight of the menu is the steak, try it cooked blue-rare, if you dare. Would visit again outside of work hours. 5/7

Great place, super friendly staff and quality meals, really enjoyable, highly recommended.
Myself and my wife along with our nearly 5 year old Daughter just had the best meal ever. Our porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection and the salad had just the right amount of zest. We were all made to feel welcome by Carra the moment we entered. Her service was very professional and swift and her happy mannerism and big smile made us feel at home and relaxed. Shanikas is extremely clean and modern with a great atmosphere with quality service and food at a fair price and a menu that covers all bases. We will be back from now on. Thankyou Shanikas and thankyou Carra.
Great service, great coffee, great food Breakfast & dinner
Usually a decent place but the last few times I have been here has been very ordinary. Took two bites out of this breakfast roll and got egg shell, opened it up and it was a bloody mess. Salads are overpriced also for what you get.
Service was sporadic. Must rely heavily on regular customer base, as you could see the difference in how much attention different tables received. Ordered drinks, very good prices. Entrees were hit or miss. Garlic bread was overly salty. Char-grilled Cuttlefish was really good, I mean really good. Chicken risotto was all-round okay. Really basic plating. Saffron risotto was well textured but the chicken was overcooked. Needs more of the jus. Veal tortelloni was very disappointing. Veal was very small and tough. Pasta overcooked. Sauce was salty almost inedible with no evidence of mushroom anywhere in the mushroom sauce. Had henessy as a digestif but was served at room temperature in a cold glass, pretty disappointing. Dessert was pretty good. Lemon curd had a whole lot of lemon zest, quite punchy. Meringue was crisp. Brownie was well cooked. Sour Cherry sauce was delicious. Would give 3.5 stars if possible. Would go back again.
First time went there for Breakfast with my son. Loved the food and service. Parking: Good in premises parking spots. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps at entrance from carpark. All flat flooring.
