Story

Alex Hotel’s wine bar and dining room takes its inspiration from the strong food traditions brought to Northbridge by waves of European immigrants. Bridging the gap of the fondly remembered European restaurants long gone and the new wave of creativity, we’re bringing classic dining back to our neighbourhood.

From a cheeky glass at lunch to an afternoon aperitivo or something a little more serious after dark, Shadow Wine Bar is open daily during the week from 12 midday through to late and open for our sumptuous brunch menu on the weekends from 8am.

Had a fantastic meal on Monday 15 Feb 21 as a belated Valentines dinner. We had a total of 6 dishes and all were delicious, a good selection of wine and really great service from our lovely German waitress. The bill was very reasonable given the quality and service. Would highly recommend.
Hidden jewel in Northbridge. Service is friendly yet highly professional. Wine/champagne collection is very nice. Entrés are somehow more impressive than main courses.
