A wonderful, light theatre, we saw Polish pianist, Hania Rani, with nice drink options before the performance. The centre offers a good range of events and concerts, worthwhile taking the kids, too. When they offer children's events.
The Seymour Centre puts on great shows It has multiple stages and very easy access for us with disabilities, there is a great preshow bar for snacks or a drink . You need to keep up with what’s on and experience what is on and see some amazingly talented actors.
Great venue for concerts. Not much of a character but it's one of the few venues that offer venue.of varying capacity
This theatre complex, so easily accessible by bus from Central, delivers theatre-on-the-edge superbly. In Victoria Park opposite, an eating venue in a previous gatehouse ?, offers delicious Mediterranean meals of a respectable size pre-theatre… both are highly recommended. I travel 2&1/2 hrs from Newcastle for Sydney theatre, and both these venues are favourites…
I was looking forward to the theatre and the performance but unfortunately we were forced to leave after half an hour due to extremely strong air conditioning blowing arctic temperatures directly on our heads. My joints were frozen after 20 minutes. In addition, we sat in a 5th row and for an unknown reason the first few rows from the stage aren't elevated. There were two tall gentlemen sitting in a row ahead and they blocked 70% of my view. As a result, my theatre experience was terrible and I had no other option but to leave shortly after the play started. I spoke to their customer service team but they were totally unhelpful. It seems they did it on purpose. So do yourself a favor and choose any other theatre in Sydney, it'll certainly be better experience for you and your family.
Great venue to see shows. A little too many stairs for my liking, but if you're movement restricted, there is an elevator and the staff are lovely and helpful.
Love this theatre. I sat in the middle of the front row and it was amazing for my birthday celebrations.
Post performance PaRTy in full swing.. Aperol Spritz thanks for supporting WorldPride events ....
Great theatre, probably about 500 capacity. Comfy lecture seats with table. Audio was good. Easy 15 min walk from Redfern station. A food cafe inside but lots of pubs around the centre of you want a better choice of food. Big car attached car park.
My first time here to see a play.great experience and the play was fantastic .I will return.the hall was cool.the acting was superb.i was disturbed by a intolerant woman.i was opening my fast eating peanuts quietly, and my neighbors were not disturbed but she was so irritated that she tapped me and said stop it.why so intolerant ?
