Beautiful location, tasty food, child friendly, just a small drive out of Auckland. We went here for father's day and were really impressed with the venue. The service was great! We were well looked after. The food was really delicious and some tastes compliments I haven't tried before. Would definitely go back here again!
We had our wedding reception here the day after the Auckland floods and it was the best place we could have had it. Even in a crisis, Settlers Country Manor was extremely reliable and delivered superbly on the day. Abigail was absolutely amazing to work with, she was extremely responsive, communicative and competent right from day one. She was very attentive to our needs and requests and on the day she and her staff ran everything in a way that allowed me and my husband to really relax into and enjoy the day completely. The food was excellent, our guests are still raving about it! The grounds and venue are well kept and our guests were very complimentary of how tasteful and full of character the venue was. It's quite unique with a very classy vibe and special atmosphere, also making for great photos which we haven't received yet from the photographer but are very excited to see. Overall, the general flow of the day seemed effortless. It is an extremely professional outfit and you are in incredibly competent and reliable hands with Settlers. Compared to other wedding venues, we loved that Settlers offers such a comprehensive package that is well priced, clearly outlines what you get, and you get such good service throughout the entire planning process as well as on the day itself. It was honestly the perfect place for our special day. We really did have our dream fairytale wedding and are so grateful to Abigail and her team at Settlers Country Manor for pulling it off, even in the midst of an extreme weather crisis. Would 100% recommend this special venue in a heartbeat.
To the awesome team at Settlers, if we could give you a 6 out of 5 stars we would! We recently celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at this gorgeous venue and can't speak highly enough of the venue, staff, services and food. Abigail you are a star and an asset to the place. Our guests are still raving about the venue and food.
We are lucky to have photographed at Settlers many times and we love capturing weddings there. With plenty of ceremony options, amazing food and incredible photo opportunities - it's one of our favourite venues for sure! Highly recommended.
Really impressed. Probably one of the poshest weddings I've been to. The wedding was so beautiful and fair dos to the staff they do a great job cleaning, for such high ceilings u almost expect to see a cobweb or two in the corner, but no it was spotless! Obvious they spend time making it look just right. On a winter night the atmosphere was so beautiful and romantic with the grand fireplace! The food Best part of a wedding in my opinion was delicious! Coz its posh I expected tiny portions, but they weren't! They where normal sized and filled me up nicely! The dance floor is something to brag about! That was pretty snazzy and made some great photos! The venue coordinator/manager did an amazing job and nothing was too much for her. Everything this place did made our best friends wedding a night we will certainly remmeber. So thank you Settlers!

A stunning venue with picturesque locations for your big day. I celebrated my wedding this weekend and it was amazing. The weather held up and the staff made what was initially a stressful morning a very seamless day. It was a mixed ethic wedding so there were many bits and pieces that had to align to make the day a success. Abigail was a huge help throughout the journey of planning and carrying out our wedding. She was very accommodating, responsive and helpful which is exactly what you need when planning a wedding. Overall we were very pleased with the level of service and quality throughout and would highly recommend Settlers to anyone looking to decide on their wedding venue.
If you're reading this and thinking about hiring for your wedding, book it now! The whole day was incredible! They've got so many spots for beautiful photos. Everything was all sorted and beautiful when we got there. Lots of space for dancing and a band. We tried our very hardest to drink the bar dry, and couldn't! The food is incredible, and if you want to check it out, pop to the gamekeepers for dinner. They accommodated a special drinks request for me, which my head really appreciated the next day! Abigail is also a bridezilla whisperer I was a tad stressy on the day and she made it so easy. Thanks so much team, we had an incredible day, all because of you.
We are regulars, and the food is always awesomely delicious. We also had our 10th year anniversary + Renewal of Marriage Vows here, and the staff were very accommodating and made it memorable for us.
We cannot recommend this location for your wedding or other events enough! We had our wedding here on the 19th September 2022. Beautiful venue, amazing staff and venue coordinator shout out to Abigail!!, and the best place if you are looking for an event or wedding that is completely packaged and you are just looking to add your own flare with decorations. This was the best night of my life and guests were amazed at our luxurious this venue was. It was so much fun to surprise our guests with this truly beautiful location. It is also important to note that this venue has a plan A, B, and C for ceremony locations! so there is no danger of weather interfering with your day! and all locations are stunning!.
