As with all services australia offices, your experience will depend on the person you are assigned to. While I understand it is a difficult kind of job, there are some staff who could do with some more compassion. In saying this, I have never been unable to get an issue resolved, and most of the staff here are amazing
Until the last month I have never had any dealings with Centrelink. I expected the worse and found the complete opposite. Personable, helpful staff who were efficient. A nice surprise really.
Seeing the previous ratings and reviews I was not looking forward to my visit - but was very pleasantly surprised! All 3 staff I spoke with were friendly and cheerful, even joking, and very quickly and competently sorted out my issues - very pleased indeed
Extremely rude staff with the worst being the woman receptionist. Not kind, respectful or patient at all and very sarcastic and rude. Their job is to help and they want to do anything but help. Do better.
I attended Centrelink Frankston today, feeling very fragile, anxious and teary to report my change of circumstances. From the girl at the front entrance, to the check-in counter to the wonderful women Sharon and Melissa who guided me kindly and compassionately through my changes, I have nothing but praise and respect for them. I was completely dreading going in but left feeling happy and so much lighter in spirit. Thank you so very much,
