This is our first time back for dinner after a while... I hope they can bring the food back to the quality before. The Seoul katsu was over fried and hard while the plain rice was undercooked. The Dwaeji Gukbap is very nice. Soup gives the warmth and generous amount of pork stomach, noodles and pork belly slices.nnWill come back to try again and hopefully can restore to 5 stars.
My partner and I love their food.nI always order their beef rib soup which is really good but the beef sometimes is a bit chewy. But most of the time, it is tender. My partner always order their Bibimbap. We usually come here when I’m craving for a homey soup.
Seoul Express is a traditional Korean restaurant that I used to frequent at their City shop, but unfortunately, it has been demolished for renovations. I absolutely love their Korean bibimbap, and the sauce they use is specially made, making it even more flavorful and aromatic. This time, we also ordered ginseng chicken, which was as delicious as always and came in a generous portion, perfect for sharing between two people. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Delicious food with big, macro-balanced portions. Definitely worth a visit!nTheir food is always perfectly cooked and seasoned.
They have a variety of Korean food here, including a very nice soup. The Katsu's or chicken/pork schnitzels are very nice, especially the jeju which includes mozerella cheese. Overall the portion sizes are generous, however they have definitely decreased in size since before covid, and the price has increased. That being said its still a safe bet for a yummy dinner. It's always busy which is a testament to its quality. The schnitzel salad, rice and soup make a good combination that is much more refreshing that schnitzel and chips.nOverall, worthwhile coming here for a decent and affordable meal.
