Went for dinner on a Sunday night and it was very busy but very good service. Staff was attentive and packed away any dirty dishes on our tables on a regular basis. Good range of food with different types of meat and vegetables and seafood such as prawns, crabs and squid. They also had condiments and fried chicken, miso soup and noodles for the hot pot and spring rolls. They also have ice cream for dessert. They have a drinks menu as well which you will have to pay for on top of the buffet price which is reasonable as they charge for different age group for kids too. The only downfall would have to be the place seems run down with bad ventilation so it was very smokey that they opened up the entrance door and it was very cold for my baby where we were seated as the cold air from outside came in to try clear the smoke. Also the quality of meat isn't as great as k-town but if you are looking for a good variety of food and value this is the place to go. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and ice cream and fried chicken for the kids was a winner for our group. The different prices for different age groups is a good idea as well.
Excellent customer service. Food was delicious! The chef greeted us and was open to Q&A.
Great buffet selection. Tlive the green lip mussels.. good size. Korean BBQ I'd a must in life Food: 5/5
the price is now $45 up from $40 per person for all you can eat buffet when I came here a year ago. the quality of meat is much unchanged, maybe even improved in marinade flavour. I was again very full and happy after my meal. there is still a great variety in ingredients, pork, beef, chicken, seafood, and 3 different soup stocks, beef, chicken and seafood which is dashi stock, very yummy and various vegetables and condiments such as kimchi and bean sauce my favourite! I found it strange that for my table I couldn't change the heat level, I had to call over a staff member and they had to change it from under the table somehow. soju is very expensive, at $20 a bottle so I didn't get any, it's $10 at the bottle-o shop down the road. it's a little expensive but you will definitely be full.
For buffet they price it at $40.90 per person. You get a steamboat with a chicken broth and one other side a spicy broth. You're also given a grille too for bbq. The choices we saw tonight ranged from marinated beef, chilli pork, chicken, fish, prawns and squid. In the vege section they had kim chi, picked radish, bean sprouts, lettuce, cucumber, Spinach and cabbage. On the pre-cooked side they offered fried chicken, fried rice, spring rolls and noodles. And for dessert they had vanilla, chocolate and strawberry icecream. The decor is dated and the format is a bit hard for people to walk around to the buffet area. It's not ventilated too well either so when you walk in its very hot but has nice bbq smell. The crowd we saw tonight ranged from many Asutralian teenagers, young and older adults. The vibe was really rowdy and loud as there seem to be a couple birthdays happening. Overall it was nice that we were served well but I unfortunately did get sick after eating there.
This place is not worth the money at all we paid 48.90 per person. The place is quite small not many options to eat, take too long to top up the food and gas changing. There were only two staffs provide the service and one of them just useless.
Always go here whenever we have a mood for a good buffet. Staffs are friendly and well trained. Wide selection of meat and sauces.
Delish! Seoul BBQ is an awesome place to go-to if you're in the mood for Korean BBQ. They offer marinaded steak, lamb and tasty pork. The hot plate works well to cook up lots of yummy cuts of meat. The restaurant has nice seating and is nicely lit. The actual buffet area to collect your food to cook is quite squeezy you'll find yourself struggling to collect when it gets busy. Not the best location as it's quite a walk away from the main parking/ district of restaurants in central east Victoria park. An extra 20 minutes by walk or closer to 9 minute drive. Overall very tasty and the steamboat is also great!
Seoul BBQ Buffet was delicious. The fact that you can continuously cook the delicious meals from the buffet is just perfection!Food: 5/5
A great experience for everyone One of my favourite restaurants. Interactive experience with great choice. I recommend learning a little about korean cuisine so you know the basics and if unsure the staff are happy to help
