A charming new bakery has opened in Bexley North, run by the same team behind Self Raised in Carlton. They’ve introduced some unique sandwiches, which I’ve enjoyed before. I recently visited for breakfast and tried the muffin with hash browns—both were fantastic and highly recommended.nnHowever, I was disappointed to find no pastries available when I visited on a Saturday around 9 a.m. Instead, they only had huge doughnuts. I tried the Milo doughnut, and while it tasted good, the size and amount of filling were overwhelming. The filling dominates the dough, making it too rich for my taste—it’s just too much to finish.nnOn the other hand, my experience at the Carlton location was much better. I’ve had their sandwiches, croissants, and danishes there, all of which met my expectations. Hopefully, the Bexley North shop finds a better balance with their pastry options.nCoffee was great too.
My other half found this GEM, and we've haven't stopped coming since. The food is honestly one of the main hitters when it comes down to flavour taste, and others, this place knows how to do a good Sanga, not going to lie, or if you want something sweet these guys got the goods with there pastries too. To wash it down with the beverages as well, you can't go wrong there. Atmosphere and service is also up there with their quick to deliver, once ordered to the friendly smiles when arriving.nnWould highly recommend coming down and trying this place out. You won't regret it
Had the chicken schnitzel sandwich, smoked beef sourdough, Boston donut and iced milo and enjoyed all of it. All tasty and fresh. The line seemed a little long but it was quite fast overall. Not much tables around. Lots of parking in the open car park in front of the store. The line is very long but staffs are efficient so you get through pretty fast.
The sandwiches are heavenly and so are the drinks and the chips, haven't tried the breakfast menu but defined going back.nThe kids loved it, and we did too.nThe place is clean as, the serviis exceptional, and the parking is very convenient.nThis is a highly recommended place
best sandwiches and baked goods, photos does not do them justice very reliable, always enjoy coming here for a quick lunch
