Weekend $15 drive up rate is a winner. It's a little bit further of a walk, but worth it. Not as tight/cramped as some other downtown carparks
On May 8, 2024 at around 3pm, my wife and I waited for our younger son here. He parked his car on the roof top, believing the roof-top flat rate was A$20. When he paid, it was A$49.50, as he couldn’t have taken notice of the small prints. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Absolutely horrible experience with the staff. I tried to pay for my parking at the gate $12 night rate and it was saying it couldn’t read my card. I pressed the assistance button and the man told me to come to the window to pay. I first tried one of the pay machines and it gave me the same error . I did have money on my card so that was not the issue I then went to the window to speak to the man and they were extremely rude and unhelpful. I only carry my phone with my Apple pay and they kept telling me to go to an atm there were none nearby and when I explained that I cannot withdraw money with Apple Pay, he then told me to leave my car there overnight and come back with money to pay. I am a young girl and it was late at night, that was not an option.nThere should definitely be an eftpos terminal machine at the window as most people use Apple pay to pay for things. Super unhappy with how I was spoken too and these men were absolutely and completely unhelpful.nDo better, that was absolutely disgusting. The stairs also wreak of piss to add insult to injury. If I could give negative stars I would.
The lift from the top floor was slow and clunky. There were lots of people on lower floors wanting to go down but the lift was already full so it had to stop at every floor only for people not to get in. Maybe some signage for the stairs would help reduce demand on the lifts. I couldn't find them anywhere.nnIt's pretty dark but I felt safe and it's in a very central location near the station and light rail.
$10 flat, evening rate on weeknights, and $12 flat weekend and public holidays rate. Very decent price for its location. Do note that it was a bit hard for me to find parking went up to the 4th floor, on a Saturday evening. It’s a popular parking lot so people may come and go often.nnThe layout is a little confusing - you enter into a large, flat space, that guides you to making a right turn at the end of the garage. The space narrows on the second floor. While you continue up, you’re only able to look for parking on one section of the parking lot, as the ramp is located in the middle of the lot. Thus, the other section is reserved for occupants going down. The parking lot is designed with strict traffic control.nnThe lift is very small and awkwardly designed. I didn’t have to use the stairwell as the lifts were working the night I used the parking lot. Apparently it really smells though.
