Not recommended at all. Do not risk parking here at 320 Harris Street, Sydney. Very disappointing how this car park operator deliberately allows overbooking of spaces in this car park at 320 Harris Street, Sydney. It leaves people driving endlessly around a very tricky, elderly car park, engendering all but road-rage as people wait and hope that other drivers may leave. There is what amounts to a disclaimer on your booking confirmation, saying parking fees can be refunded if you do not find a space, but I guess it relies on some people not bothering to claim and so Secure Parking makes more out of trusting customers. No customer service whatsoever on a busy Saturday night, no one answering the intercom at the barrier, no one answering landline phones. Anything could have been happening, any sort of emergency, yet no one answers. The boom gate has a screen nearby to enter a PIN, for pre-booked parking spaces, but the screen displays an advertisement rather than a numerical keypad UNTIL YOU TOUCH IT, so very confusing for first time users. There is only one out of three lifts working at present - no stairs as an alternative, you can only use the elevators to move between floors if you are on foot. To have only one working means too many people sometimes try to get in as it is a slow lift and they don't want to wait any longer, especially if they are alone. However, this is not good practise for being COVID safe in these difficult times, and with no monitoring of the car park by humans it could also have its dangers. As mentioned, no help available as traffic backs up behind. It's not an easy car park to negotiate if you have anything other than a very small car. Many drivers had to reverse and do several manoeuvres in order to negotiate corners. The overbooking is the most frustrating thing imaginable if you are going to anything time sensitive like health appointments, performances etc. There are no indicators before you enter the car park whether there are spaces available, because there is no system to measure this. There are no coloured lights anywhere indicating spaces/lack of spaces, no displays to suggest a floor level that has a space. Very poor indeed, sharp practice at best.
Brilliant. Booked weeks ago for NYE and everything worked perfectly. Sat nav took us to correct entrance. Code worked. Plenty of space. Those bell ends who say it's tight probably drive huge and stupid SUVs and can't drive anyway....Thank you secure parking for helping make our NYEve so special and f..k the critics.
Disgusting business ethics. Paid $15 for early bird parking but had to leave early. Was then charged a $24 fee for leaving early. I tried to find the fee before vacating the spot but its not clearly stated. Charged more than the original cost for freeing up a spot for them to re let. What thieves!!!!!!
Worst parking experience ever. “Customer service” line is never answered and no assistance with issues. Have been using this parking for months and now is just getting ridiculous with issues everyday without fail
Disaster of a carpark. No clear signage, had to reverse on ground floor for 50m to be able to get up the ramp as all spaces on LG were reserved spots. Found a parking bay and it had a knocked over bollard that got caught under the front of my car and had to be fished out. Long walk to lifts with lights only coming on with motion activation. Felt very unsafe walking on my own. No emergency exit signs is this illegal? had to perform a hairpin on UG floor to turn to back track to go down exit ramp. Scraped side of car as hundreds have clearly done before me. 1 star is for the only redeeming factor - the online weekend parking price compared to the Star.
We pre-booked for flat rate parking on a weekend. Was very convenient for walking to the ICC through the Wilson carpark and is a cheaper alternative compared to the nearby Darling Harbour carparks.
Tried to use this carpark on Saturday night for vivid, drove in all signs were turned off absolutely no parking left at all. Drove to the top and all the way back down did not even step foot out of the car and I was charged $25 at the boom gate. I could've gone across to Darling Harbour to the Ferris wheel for $5 less. I think that deserves a refund, after all it's a "carpark" not a drive thru. Also no help available at the intercom. Had to give one star no option for no stars.
While the width of the spots were decent, the carpark design leaves a lot to be desired. Tight turning radius, mixed signage. Also beware the rates you see online, the drive-up rate is much higher and there's no weekend drive-up rate.
Pre booked and paid. Given a PIN to enter/exit. At entrance, no key pad or notice of how to key pin. So I get ticket. On returning I do some investigation. A second screen at the gate said something like, "have your details changed" . Turns out it is the touch screen to enter the pin. Go to exit "PIN NOT RECOGNIZED" Reverse back and park again. Go and pay the ticket and exit. Paid 3x initial quote. Not happy! A simple sign at the entrance, "Touch screen to enter PIN" Would solve all the problems.
Easy parking over night but some car spaces are a bit tight and in some parts the ceiling is a bit low. Rates are ok
