Secret Souv is one of the best restaurants / takeaway joints in the eastern suburbs.  Their souvs are always beautifully cooked, with tender meat and fresh salad, and they've got both vegetarian and vegan options if that's more your jam.  Massive shout out for their feta-topped chips, which are the perfect snack, especially over summer. Grab a souv, wander down to the creek trail - and you're set!  Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan souvlaki options! You don&#39;t see that every day.

Can you imagine an authentic Greek food joint deep inside a quiet suburb? I didn't!  I found Secrect Souv when I was searching for restaurants on Google maps for a quick fix. It's a gem, and I think it's no longer hidden.  The best for us was grilled Haloumi which was fresh and delicious. The thing with Haloumi is that you have to eat it while it's warm, or it gets chewy.  The meat was juicy and soft. Pita bread was freshly made so that tested great. They make lentil kofta fresh, and you can actually tell. My only complaint is that the koftas are less in quantity. Just one more will balance the quantity for vegetarians.  The service was friendly and quick.  There is enough parking on the street. You can have a group gathering at this place.  Will be back some day.

I love this place! Great take away and for dine in if you can get a table. Gyros and skewers are the best! Nice salad and the best chips . Picture below shows the mixed gyros open plate. But I normally get a mixed grill which had a bit of everything. One person one can feed an adult . Two person one can feed 2 adults and 1-3 kids depending on how hungry they are . Highly recommended if you like Greek food, meat or both  Good value as well I think, especially the mixed grill. Btw, in reference to the bad reviews. I phone ahead, add a 5-10 minute buffer to their estimate and it’s always ready. They are good and busy, maybe they need to expand? Don’t expect to turn up, order and get food with in 10 minutes during busy periods.

Don't mind the meal being half eaten in the photo, dug straight in before we had a chance!! The staff were very lovely, accommodating, and friendly. A very cozy a delicious green resteraunt. I highly reccomend

Tucked away in the centre of Ashwood lies a hidden pocket of shops, going unnoticed by those travelling past on the major roads. Walking through at lunch time, you are overwhelmed with the incredible smell of charcoal cooked meats emanating from one of the establishments.  Enter Secret Souv, a small but quaint greek restaurant. The walls are decorated with greek ornaments and greek music playing from the speakers. This warm little restaurant was a sight to behold on our empty stomachs.  The staff were very pleasant and we were shown to a table immediately. Ordered a couple of Souvs which came out quickly.  My goodness! The lamb and chicken were to die for. Crispy on the outside, soft and succulent on the inside - out of this world. Our Souvs had fresh garnishes and incredible sauces. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend

We came here around 1PM on Saturday today and we’re just loving the vibe, the delicious meat, and the customer service! The two girls are super friendly and the guy working there was extremely helpful to the customers in need. The gyros & mixed grill meats were smoky and the pita bread was delicious. Highly recommended! We gobbled up all the meat before we could take any picture.

The food is consistently good, especially the lamb. Not that horrible reconstituted type meat that has all the additives in it. Service is normally friendly. It’s more expensive than your average shop but the quality is better. I like that they put rosemary on the chips

Good food, when it arrives. After one too many times when it didn't arrive after more than an hour, I sadly have to leave this review warning others. Used to be a good place, gone downhill with absolutely shocking service. Tried to call them to find out what is happening and they just put you on hold indefinitely.Food: 4/5

This has gotta be a local favourite! Fresh & hot delicious kebabs. Suggest calling prior cause this often has 30 mins wait. They are probably on the more expensive side when it comes to kebab but so worth it because it just tastes so much better than other places around!Food: 5/5

What a hidden gem of a place. Their Souvlaki's are great. The best lamb souv I've had in a long time. They are a little dearer than the average souvlaki's but I think given the freshness ingredients used, I'm still happy to pay for that.
