Conveniently located at stop 11 on the Blue CAT bus line in Fremantle Fish and Chips were fine. The requested grilled snapper came battered and deep fat fried, but admittedly was tasty. Coke Zeros were reasonably priced. Outdoor seating could use more shade.Recommended dishesFish - Chips
Great fish n chips, good serves and light batter. Fish tacos were great! Was with family who loved the seafood chowder enough to buy a take away container to go. I tried the tom yum soup later that night which was also great. My go to seafood place for cooked and fresh.Food: 5/5
Great fish and chips, good size serves and real, fair dinkum snapper, not whatever some places call snapper. The only downside was the food could have been drained more as we felt it was a bit oily but apart from that, we enjoyed it very much and will be back soon. 3 weeks later- Well, here we are back again just a couple of weeks later and how things change. This time we had the same meal, snapper, chips and a potato scallop. The fish was very very over cooked with the batter very crunchy, so dark in colour it was obvious at a glance it was burnt and the fish was very dry as a consequence. The chips were only just ok and scallop was ok. My comment in my last review about the meal being very oily was obviously not noticed because this time the oiliness was even worse. Sadly, never again. With the potential to be the most popular seafood cafe around Freo, why Sealanes is so below par is beyond me.
Excellent fresh fish at the SeaLanes Fish & Chips cafe. The Fish tacos are absolutely stunning, a beautiful light batter, fresh fish, and just very light with delicate flavours. They also do a fish burger, a fish 'basket' also pictured, and their battered squid is very tasty too.
Serve food at a glacial pace. Advised 15 minute wait- took an hour for a simple order of fish and chips. Don’t bother.
Amazing quality fish, chips and squid rings!! Sealanes never disappoints with their great location and service.
Angry little hairy jockey in the kitchen. Shouting profanity. Very unprofessional. Otherwise a lovely dining experience for the whole family. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly.

eaten twice and both times the batter was so burnt that it just broke off... seafood is good quality but overcooked and the batter itself ruined the food...
We visited first time couple Saturdays ago the young girl at the counter just offered us the blackboard menu 3 choices of fish never mentioned menu altogether a bit vague! We chose mackerel and chips x 2, chips ok fish was awful, dense ,like chicken, will struggle to recommend or go back, shame nice position
