Great fun with an atypical sea creature (sea horses). The tour takes you through their breeding/farming process and you get to see a few other sea creatures at the end. Sea dragons are magical.

We loved this attraction, and the tour behind the scenes of how this facility breeds seahorses in captivity. Lots of other sea life too besides seahorses are on show, and there is a terrific souvenir/gift shop where we bought some lovely things. The proprietor also recommended us to stay at Beauty Point Cottages nearby, which was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Excellent place to make a detour to. They only do guided tours but the guides appear to know what they are talking about. Great to learn and see the live cycle of the seahorse. And even an opportunity to hold one. Few other great sea creatures too.

An educational, well laid out facility. Our tour guide was very informative and managed the large group very professionally. Explanations were pitched at the right level, all questions were answered and sufficient time given to take photos. Well worth the drive from Launceston to marvel at these incredible little sea creatures.

Went on the seahorse tour when the facility first opened and it was very short and crowded. I'm pleased to say that the tour has improved immensely with small groups and more exhibits to justify the high entry price. A must do when in the West Tamar. However, I didn't appreciate the creationist nonsense that is in the gift shop and it really detracted from the excellent science that the facility was first known for.
