Did a walk-in for Se Jong around 5ish when they opened, we got the early bird rate which was great. Really enjoyed the wide variety of food offered. Which waiting for the meat to cook , we helped ourselves to a lot of side dishes, salad, sushi, hot and cold dishes. We were able to get different types of meat to cook and seafood as well. Enjoyed our 2hr seating and finished off everything. I think dessert could definitely be improved, there was cake pieces, fruit and ice cream. Overall great experience, left will a full tummy and keen to be back again.
What a fun experience. I loved the all you can eat vibes and they had a great selection of meats my favourite is bulgogi beef. They also have some really nice precooked food including fried chicken, noodles, sushi and dessert. To be honest they increased the price to $45 per person and that’s a bit steep. It was hard to give up $90 for dinner for 2 with no drinks. Definitely a place to go for if you have money to spare or looking for an experience.
Good buffet for 45$ dinner its worth it. There is a large range of selection and it wasn't smokey like some bbq places. Worth the price, the meat here is ok but for this price you can't expect too much. The place also uses coal and gas so its the best of both worlds.
Our favourite all you can eat KBBQ. Been here multiple times and it never disappoints. $48pp or $42 for early bird special if you enter between 5pm-5:30pm.
We were a group of four in for an early bird special which is $42.50 each if you arrive between the hours of 5:00-5:30PM. Once we were finished and ready to pay, the total came to just over $200.00. The manager explained that we were seated longer than "90 minutes" and pointed at a sign. This condition for the early bird price was not made clear to us prior. After an exhaustive talk with management which I'll add was like talking to a brick wall, they finally agreed to wave the overcharge. While this was a positive outcome, I will advise any future customers looking to eat at this establishment whether it be in Capsie or Carlingford, to always read the fine print stated around the register. As for management, I advise that you make your conditions well known to every customer walking in for the early bird special and have it written in LARGER FONT so you don't have to raise your voice, abuse and cause a scene in front of a full restaurant towards others who may encounter the same problem. Be sure to expect a few more negative reviews from the rest of the group. This was the first and last time eating at Se Jong Korean BBQ Carlingford. Thank you Parking: Unless staying longer than three hours, you will pay for parking across the road in the shopping centre.
As soon as arrived Sydney, got into this restaurant first. Really enjoyed Korean BBQ. Owner was kind and good care of our table. It was really good time. Next time I will bring my family. Recommend this for family eating outFood: 5/5
Variety of BBQ options also good range of hot food and ready to eat line. Service was great. Good hygiene and cleanliness. Good space and air flow. One of the best one so far I’ve been to. Plenty of parking around so no need to frustrate about.
Move over all you can eat, it's all you can meat! I enjoyed the variety of the food offered at the buffet, I also enjoyed the variety of meet, the attention the staff have especially when changing the stoves. I had a great time today and would def go again for any future events. They also have a little dessert section which made my night cause those brownies and fresh fruit was the topping of the meat tower I had that day. I also enjoyed cooking the meats, first time and now I'm addicted
For the price, it's actually okay compared to others and worth it. They had promotion 5-5.30pm for early birth entry $33/person, and you must leave at 7pm. There is variety of food. But some of them I don't really recommend. For example I was there just Monday, their rice juice which was too sweet, I felt like they put too much sugar, and one of my favourite dish, pumpkin soup, I could feel the full of powder taste inside, and it was quite thick, I honestly did not keen on :. Apart from that, the flesh is great. They were marinated very well. For dessert, only vanilla ice cream. Only orange and watermelon for fruit. A plus for staff, they changed the grills frequently even when it hadn't been too burned. Overall, good to have a try.
I would have to say the worst Korean bbq I’ve ever had, the meat was in large chunks, it was very fatty chewy and had a lot of gristle which I had to spit in a tissue. The quality of meats and produce is very poor, and not worth the $50 per person. The place is dirty and floors so greasy you almost slip. Don’t waste your money
