Went into the store earlier this week. Have been before, and always have received lovely service. However, this one time was different. I did come across a team member by the name of Tracey who seemed to be more interested in social chat than serving customers. Was finally greeted by another sales person who was more than willing to assist. Definitely turned the experience around.

If I could rate no stars I would. Don't shop here if it's customer service you are looking for. I took back some items without having kept my receipt. I wasn't after my money back as I wanted to purchase some more items. When aggressively told they wouldn't exchange my items (currently still sold at the store) I asked if I could have half their value back as an exchange and again I was told no. Don't shop at this impersonal barn if you don't have to. There are other alternatives out there that look after their customers and of course want you to return to spend even more money. That's what I was about to do Schots but not now.

Service is quite pathetic. In the first 20 minutes I was there, no staff member was available to ask me if I needed help. Great range of stuff though. Still ordered a few things and the delivery was prompt.

Although we have ordered the products we were after and received great service from Bec in lighting, we have never had a service as poor as what Monique the cashier presented. Her attitude was unhelpful and so cold, she refused to even look up at us and made it seem that her presenting us with a receipt and a bag for our items was in fact a favour!! After having read the other reviews, I can certainly understand where all the others are coming from regarding their customer service.

Went to schots to buy a chandelier 3 times before I purchased it. I asked if I could get black candle covers instead of what they came with. Was very happy to pay extra and was told I could get them at a certain price. After I ordered and payed for almost a $3000 chandelier, I was told that they didn’t know where to get them from and I should just spray what I had. Sean said he would search for me and never got back to me. What is frustrating is that he gave me price of $8 for each cover before I purchased it. Never again will buy anything from them. Poor service as well. Waiting in up to 20 mins to 30 before anyone serves you. Also left 3 messages for him and he didn’t bother to call back. Why should he. The sale was done. Very disappointed
