The food was very nice however the serving was quit small for 20. We ordered two dishes and asked the waiter if it’s good to share and she said yes however when she brought them out they were the size of my hand which was surprising considering they were around 22 each. What made me full was the bread we ordered. The food was great but it would have been better if the serving was worth the price. And maybe some music considering it was only us and another table so pretty quiet
Good Indian food! This restaurant is a longstanding Morningside institution and we used to go to the Friday and Saturday night buffets before Covid before we decided we didn't like the food. The buffets are finished now and that is a great thing because the food on the a-la-carte menu is really good. We ordered a Tandoori platter and a couple of vegetarian curries which were excellent and a cut above the average Indian curries which usually taste the same. We found pieces of cinnamon and cardomom pods in the sauce and the naan were actually cooked in the tandoor oven. The poppadoms and rice are complimentary too which we really appreciate after paying as much as $5 for a small serve of rice. BYO is a plus too! 29 April 2017 We've been a few times for the Friday and Saturday night buffet, which at $20 per head is really good value for money. The curries are too a bit too mild for our taste more suited to the Australian palate and we don't think that they are cooking the tandoori chicken and naan in the tandoor oven any more. We probably won't go back again!
We live locally at Morningside . There is 3 Indian restaurants in walking distance . We have had take away and dine in . We love the food and not once been disappointed. Naan bread is amazing . Beef /lamb has chunky pieces which fall apart . Not sure if this is the case all the time but we’ve had value for money each time . Will continue to enjoy this restaurant . Ps would be great if they could modernise but that requires expensive shop fits . Vegetarian options: Nor vegetarians but they have plenty of meat free curries Kid-friendliness: Like all Asian …Indian /Chinese it is a family atmosphere Parking: Main drag Morningside Central . Parking on street alway available Wheelchair accessibility: Only know that it is street access , straight through door ..no steps

Excellent Indian food. We are new to the south of Brisbane and we have tried all India restaurant in this street. This was the last and we didn’t want to come as it’s always empty but don’t let that put you off. We were very surprised. The food was wonderful and this will be our favourite and regular Indian hangout. We will see you next weekend. BYO drinks and friendly staff.
cleanest dishes I've ever seen whoever does your dishes, give them a raise. Just a shame that cool waiter left though, think his name was jackson, please get him back!
haven't experienced something this exquisite since I first heard Antonio Vivaldi's 9th symphony in F minor. P.S. Apparently their dishwasher is also like mega hot but that's only according to urban legend.
Yes!!! My third time going to this restaurant and they nailed it. I recommend the banquet meal deal. The food here is amazing and this is now our family go to Indian cuisine restaurant. Highly recommended the butter chicken, the chicken korma and the butter paneer. Thank you for the wonderful food. And we'll be back soon
Best curry I've had in the East of Brisbane! Reminded me of proper London curry. Reasonably priced, big portions and good garlic naan.Food: 5/5
Very nice food for affordable prices. The chef is a polite and nice person. Strongly recommend to try this place which is in Wynnum. Once again decent food and kudos to chef.
