Fully fenced dog park, including waste bag dispenser, bins, water points for dogs, and for people, shady trees, shaded seating, and park benches.nnThe space is generous, plenty of room for dogs to run, keep away from others if you want to, and space to play boisterously without some of the concerns when spaces are smaller/dogs forced to be in closer proximity than they'd choose to.nnThere's some unimaginatively positioned agility infrastructure, and a no-dog fenced play equipment to keep any kids in attendance safe and entertained.nnWould rate more favourably if people's behaviour was less impactful. Have visited 4 times now and each time, numerous occasions, have watched owners watch their dogs toilet, and do nothing. Park is definitely one of the worst I've visited for owner's responsibility around waste. I have had to watch where I step closely each visit, which is a bummer.nnAnd, unfortunately and significantly, have to mention that entry/exit points aren't double gated, and yesterday someone had left a gate wide open and my dog left the park via gate beside road. Had she not had effective recall and while I know any dogs off leash should always be under effective verbal control, I think it is reasonable for guardians not to expect to have to recall their dog from outside the fenced yard, it could have been awful outcome.nnOverall, the park is well appointed with a significant downside single-gated entry [not sure if this is standard on the Gold Coast, haven't come across it before, besides 2 parks here], and, at least recently, a tendency for enough guardians to not be responsible for their dog's waste to warrant extra vigilance when wandering.nnI really like the space; could be an excellent park.
My dog Ioves this park! It is a very large fenced dog park with plenty of room for them to roam free whilst being contained. Sometimes the grass can be a bit long so it can make it difficult to spot the poop when you go to collect but I haven’t noticed it being a huge issue. Note there is a dip in the middle which is muddy when wet so just be aware if you wish to keep your dog clean.
Love this beautiful park! So much space for the pups to run and everyone’s dogs are normally friendly and well socialised.
Beautiful place. Dog exercise, playground, exercise equipments, picnic table. Easy street parking. Very quiet and peaceful place. No public toilet
Such a beautiful spot for off leash area. Plenty of parking, undercoaver area and a playground for the kids.
