Gosh! Where to start… absolutely amazing service, all with smile and understanding, even they were super busy. Menu is great with reasonable prices! They were happy to accomodate our dietary requirements.  The food we have received was amazing, we left empty plates. The place looks very cool, clean and has an artistic vibe. Therefore 5 and they got a nice tip from us and we will be back if we will be able to do before our departure. Def recommending the establishment.

Great place to stop and have a rest from the elements and enjoy a coffee and nice bite to eat.  Plenty of comfortable inside open air seating, and well protected from the hot spring sun.  Nice breeze flows through the sides.  Decor is amazing and funny.  All pirate themed.  Coffee was fantastic.  Well made   And staff was very friendly and helpful.  Would love to return soon to enjoy a proper meal.

I had a hankering for fresh salad and Scallywags certainly delivered. Fun vibe and very friendly staff. The salad was super fresh and the fish mackerel was really tasty. A happening place that was busy but service was still quick. Highly recommended.

We came to the island for our  anniversary and we had breakfast here 2 of the 3 days we stayed so that tells you something. I would eat here every day if I could the atmosphere the decor this place is amazing. The coffee was one of the best on the island. The staff are super friendly and chilled. I would recommend the homemade beans they were delicious And the pancakes I could have eaten 2 plates. We will definitely be returning. Compliments to the chefs and the staff

We stayed on Maggie Island for 5 days and came to have a brekkie for 5 days in a row as well. We tried Haloumi Pineapple burger, Mushroom Burger, Haloumi Pineapple sweet potato Spud, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes and 3 kinds of Smoothies which are Acai, Mango, Strawberry. They offer really good portion with fair price. Also must be a good choice for Vegetarians and vegans. Their homemade orange cake was awesomeee. Nice and friendly staffs make good ambient: Definitely must visit here while having a trip to Maggie.

Went here for my Birthday lunch and was not disappointed! The energy here is amazing. No doubt the BEST place to get food on Magnetic Island. Not to be missed. Has the best decor, service and food. Great value for great portion sizes and quality. As someone who is vegan, I loved the variety of plant based options and the reassurance we got from the staff that they would provide fully vegan meals for us. We got the pesto mushroom burger with added pineapple, the loaded sweet potato with tofu bolognese and their freshly made blueberry cheesecake which was just divine. Everything was so fresh and yummy and wholesome. Healthy but hearty. Can't wait to come back to Maggie Island just for this! MUCH LOVE &lt;3

Funky, love Cat in the Hat tables!  Have a hearty meal here.  Service , fantastic! Last day of the season today!  Had to walk the plank.  Great menu, big servings, value and well priced.Recommended dishesPancakes, Mango Tango Smoothie

GREAT FOR KIDS and ADULTS ALIKE... A shame it is temporarily closing on December 17...  We had a huge breakfast. Hubby had the pancakes with high quality fruit and delicious yoghurt. I had the Vego breakfast which had 2 big hash browns garlic mushrooms spinach and scrambled eggs. There is a kids menu and kids corner with a play area. Coffee is good and all the quaint little pirate touches are great talking points. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Super friendly welcoming staff, food was incredible and super quick. Baked potato is such good value and the home made beans were something else!!! Great coffee too!

The food just amazing! We really love all the taste of the food. Definitely will recommend this place.
