A hidden gem in Casterton. Lovely cozy place with lots of variety. The ‘say grace burger’ was delicious. Tender and juicy and just enough to feed my hungry stomach. The store decoration is beautiful, I especially love the quote hanging on the wall. Staffs are friendly and puts on a smile all the time. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you ever drop by or pass by Casterton, give this place a go before taking off.
This is a pleasant country experience. The breakfast menu is quite good. I feel the coffee blend has changed since my first taste and is passable- say 3/5. The service is efficient and friendly. They are now open on Saturday nights but I do not know what that menu is like. Certainly a good choice when travelling through Casterton.
On the way to Adelaide and passed by this lovely cafe in Casterton. The deco is super cute and we were the first customer this morning. Love the coffee and also the yummy scrambled egg on English muffin. Thanks for the wonderful service and looking forward to come back again.
I had a breakfast here today. The spanish eggs is excellent, but today’s coffee is ordinary. I visited the place a couple of times and usually had good coffee. — Worth to visit, relax and cozy ambient/vibe.
These guys are awesome. They are so friendly. Nothing was too much of an issue. The food is great and the atmosphere is relaxed. Mel and Bruno have a slice of paradise that they really want to share with you. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed.
Love the breakfast, the big one!! Staff very friendly. Relaxing atmosphere. Awesome Spoonfed Jams to purchase. June 2016. Going every June for Kelpie Muster since 2006. Would give 5 but coffee very good but a smidgen cold!!
Very good coffee nice breakfast between $8 and $18. Good food but could be a little bit bigger. The restaurant offer gluten-free and organic food to buy egg, bread, quinoa.... Good atmosphere nice place to have a good breakfast.
Absolutely great food and service! All breakfasts were fabulous that we almost ordered another lot to go and coffees were great. Service was fast and people were lovely!
This is a different sort of review. I was on a flight from Melbourne to Dubai with my cousin who had health problems at the time of the flight and he was in a pretty bad state. We asked the flight attendant on board if we were able to move my cousin to an exit row seat where he would be able to stretch out and relax as he was in a very bad state. All the exit row seats were full but a lovely lady overheard the conversation and happily gave her seat up for my cousin without any hesitation and she was more than happy to sit in the back corner seat which wasn’t very comfortable to say the least. She didn’t even know about his bad state of health. Later on I found out Milena still had another 17 hour flight from Dubai. All up she was travelling for over 48 hours yet she put a complete strangers priority first! For the next few hours I had the pleasure to meet & talk to Milena, the lovely lady who helped my cousin. To say she is a lovely, helping and caring person is an understatement. We chatted plenty and Milena told me about her decision to move from Melbourne to a small country town, where she operates a popular cafe with her husband. She explained her passion for the cafe and how much she loves ensuring all her customers are happy and that definitely reflected by her kind gesture on board the flight. When I asked her what it’s like living in a small country town, Milena said she couldn’t imagine living elsewhere anymore because she now considers the tight knit community as her immediate family and couldn’t leave them. Once we’re back in Melbourne we are going to come up, say g’day & have a tasty coffee! Thank you Milena
Don't make the mistake, Service is slack, ordered coffees and food, one coffee came after ten minutes, waited another twenty minutes before we had to ask for the food and other coffees again. Seems to be a mix of needing more staff, and the current ones are inexperienced. Unfortunate for the barista who was on pint when the coffees did come.
