I went to this store at around 7 pm on a Friday, and it wasn’t too busy. Large, clean, bright space full of bargains! I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service and the selection of clothes. Some items seem to be a bit marked up just because of the brand, but overall affordable. Would recommend spending at least 2-3 hours in the store.
Customer service is nice however not a huge variety compared with Footscray Savers with books and board games and even homewares. Prices seem to be cheaper than Footscray with books with prices ranging between $3.49-$5.49 considering that I went here today and Footscray Savers months ago. Board games new and sealed I bought one ticketed at $7.99 which isn't too bad.nnI guess these guys focus more on clothing which is nice for eBay sellers and people who love clothing and maybe I might need clothing from here however for reselling with Amazon, most of the books seem fairly read and aren't the highest quality.nnThere is going to be a 50% off clothing sale in a couple of Tuesdays time
I was after a nice last minute suit, jacket and shirt for an event. The range of shirt was pretty good, and even though the suit range was small it was respectable and diverse. I ended up walking out with a very well fitting perfectly clean custom made suit/pant combo and a shirt for $50 total, which looked amazing. Highly recommend anyone to checkout savers for formal wear.
a rude staff member really ruined my experience here .. I tried to make eye contact as I was not sure how their waiting room procedure went.. am 5 feet tall and could not see that there was a line over the tall clothing racks by the wait room, proceeded to get berated by her .. ignored me after I tried to explain how I physically did not see the line .. horrible basic human decency
Huge selection of stuff here! If you've ever visited the Footscray Savers, its easily just as big, if not bigger. Tons of bargain deals on clothes, home decor, and even Manchester. They occasionally have cheap instruments in! Found a acoustic guitar or two stocked up behind the counter, and a piano down the back with the furniture. You'll be surprised what you can find at Savers.
