Got a good haul today, great store. One thing that's new since I was last there was that they're now selling electronics for repair. As a tinkerer I love trying fix things so this is a dream. It's great that they're allowed to do this. I'll be back soon.
If I could give zero star rating I would.nI am a regular visitor at the Brunswick Savers, but I decided to try Footscray Savers, big mistake!nI had a bag of donations in order to receive a discount voucher, and the staff member insisted on seeing what was in my bag, stating I needed 2 or more items, omg never ever had this happen to me before, and she reluctantly game me a voucher.nAnyway, I began to browse and quickly noticed how overpriced everything was compared to Brunswick Savers, I continued regardless, when I was interrupted by a staff member who asked my if my dog was a service dog? George is always on a leash and much loved by staff and shoppers at Brunswick store, she told me to tie him up outside, so said no, bla bla bla, she told me to leave the store after I called her a cow lolnI insisted on speaking to the manager, and the manager Zed didn’t care that her store was unlike the Brunswick storenNever going near this place again, and I have lodged a complaint with senior Savers managementnDo yourselves a favour, and go to Brunswick Savers, the area is much nicer, the staff are so cool, and they love pets.
Staff are awesome. The store is gross and grubby.nNot to mention, the locals are scary when we exited the store, someone was getting put in handcuffs by the police, just outside the door.
I was in their shop yesterday and saw this great Akai vintage stereo system.nI asked if I could plug it in to test the system, play a record and CD but was told I couldn’t do it. They did say that they test the system for basic functionality ie The light lights on the amplifier.nnI bought it today and found the phono record player doesn’t work, the CD player makes an awful sound, the tuner works and so do the speakers.nIf I could have been able to test these functions in the shop it would have saved me quite a few hours on public transport.nI will keep the speakers as sound better than the current ones but will have to dump the rest of the unit.
great varieties of clothing and accessories. they also have silver, golden stuff at cheap prices. love it!!
