Really enjoyable place. Been here a few times and food is consistent. Prices are a little on the higher end but there are more affordable options. Generous sized meals. Great kids menu too.
I absolutely loved Sarba's. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the food is delicious and the variety on the menu is extensive. It has a somewhat Industrial decor but very clean and relaxing. The only thing that I would like to see is a bit more effort with the tables and the cutlery, may I suggest you wrap the cutlery in the napkins and add a little decor to the tables besides that it's a top place, a hidden little gem in the Lakelands Shopping centre
Took my family out on a visit to Perth, well what a shocking, experience this was, the staff couldn't care less, the food was very basic, and expensive, 3 pieces of bread $4.50, main meals $30-40 and they came out to the table at different times - we waited over 20 minutes for the last meal, which they had to be reminded about and had clearly forgotten. My pizza was overcooked with burnt cheese I told the waitress, who actually shrugged her shoulders and said "oh well". My garden salad was the cheap bagged type with carrot and beetroot leaves, disgust unbelievably they didn't even apologise for spilling boiling hot peppermint tea narrowly missing mum. If it wasn't so bad it would have been funny. One of our guests had penne Calabrese and the penne was stuck together in lumps and overcooked. No one came to see if we wanted anything, extra drinks, or deserts, or coffee, no service and the restaurant was basically empty. I could have just walked out without paying that's how little attention they paid to us. When I paid the bill over $200 I noticed they had charged extra when I questioned it the young boy said "that's what it is". Right. If you visit here go with low expectations and that way you won't be disappointed. I will never go again and will tell my family and friends to avoid it like the plague. What a rip off and disappointing experience.
Although they said they were busy, our food arrived in good time. Steak was cooked exactly as requested. Bush seafood salad had lots of seafood. All was delicious. Definitely will be back to try something else from their varied menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely dinning experience.
My Mother and I had visited this place in the middle of 2022. We had simply visited so many other places that we had forgotten this restaurant for quite some time. Glad to say, it finally came back to us and we visited again. First off, the appearance. The outside of the restaurant is somewhat hidden by the surrounding shopping centre but still stands out as an inviting location. Inside, it is very appealing. Wooden decorations with dark walls and mounted wine bottles really brings out the aesthetic of a good restaurant. We were seated immediately for brunch on a Saturday morning. After looking through the menu, I ordered a mango smoothie with full cream milk. My Mother ordered the banana smoothie with oat milk. Though there was a five to ten minute delay between both smoothies being brought to the table, both were creamy and full of flavour. So I can’t complain too much. Ordering the big breakfast item, we weren’t expecting too much. Maybe a run-of-the-mill breakfast that you can get at any other cafe. So we ordered some chips on the side for something extra. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. Plenty of bacon that was perfectly cooked. Toast that was crispy but still soft enough to easily chew. Hash browns that are not too oily, nice and crumbled, and that kind of moist that makes crispy battered food items delectable. Perfectly cooked eggs. Baked beans in a tasty homemade tomato sauce. Then there was the chorizo. Completely authentic and delicious. With a bite, a tang, spice, and full of juicy flavour. Definitely the biggest highlight of the meal. The chips were also cooked to perfection. A golden crisp with a moist and tasty bite. Honestly, the food kept going in quality like it was running a marathon. Our customer service was very good as well. The wait staff were all kind. Genuine smiles, attentive, and making sure we enjoyed our meal and were all good. Honestly a fantastic restaurant. A must to visit, especially for brunch. Vegetarian options: There are items full of green goodness for people that don’t like meat. Kid-friendliness: Sarba’s has options specifically catering to children. Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten free options.
Food was good. Service ordinary to non-existent. One person’s mains order was completely forgotten! No used food receptacles/ cutlery was removed from the table at all. The air conditioning was freezing, it was temporarily adjusted for approximately 10mins after the chap at my table complained. It was then returned to freezing. Other patrons agreed it was bitterly cold. When I moved to an unused table to try and get comfortable I observed a wait-person turn the setting up to a more comfortable temperature. Would possibly recommend for takeaway only. Staff urgently require customer service training etc. Staff may well have been warm but their comfort ought not override fee paying patrons’ comfort after all without their patronage where might your business be?
The food was lovely, the staff very friendly, one constructive criticism, we were not asked after the main meal was served and dishes taken if we would like more drinks, or desert. it would have been better service to have this extra attention. Not providing the extra service would deny the business potentially, to earn more income. Sue K
This was the first time I had been to this restaurant. I wasn’t impressed at all. We had 2 orders that came out that weren’t ours and were told they were ticketed for our table. And when we repeated they weren’t ours the young boy tried to tell us they were. We had to ask for my sons drink twice and when all of our meals came out his Didn’t. It took them 45 min to make a child’s ham and pineapple pizza. 2 of the cooks were too busy looking and laughing at something on their phones. Not a very good experience
Came with a large group of 20+. Food came out all together and it it was great. I had the 10" pizza which was very nice & filling. Great service & food. Can't fault it.Food: 5/5
Orded gluten free brunch with sweet potato fritters which was rather bland. Ordered a healthy matcha Iced Latte with almond milk and after paying I noticed I was charged $11.90 instead of $6.90 90cents extra for almond milk. I was told with cream and icecream was $11.00 which i didn't request - too bad as that was what came up on the computer. Why advertise for $6-00 when you're not charged the correct amount??????
