I used their service for permanent hair straightening, look at the pictures and tell if those hair look like they had straightening done?  and i found burn marks on my scalp later. Dont be deceived by all the sweet talking they do when you get the service. Three days later after i washed my hair, they were back to my normal wavy hair. I was furious and desperately trying to contact them, i have had no luck. Walked pass the salon multiple times and it was shut. I gave up applied for refund dispute via my bank and the salon said the purchase was valid and will not give refund. I am since then trying to get my refund. Please read comments and save yourself.  DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. Let us shut the frauds down.

Just left Sapphire Essence a very happy girl! I booked the style cut and half head balayage for very cheap, called the salon and was seen immediately. I showed Zane a picture of what I wanted, and he very carefully selected the shade I wanted. He took his time and my hair turned out exactly as he described. He was super polite and I felt like he cared about how everything turned out. I don't know about other stylists, but I would recommend Zane to anyone looking for a good color.  I noticed some other reviews of people being upset at having to pay more than the groupon, but the terms are very clear. Zane layed out the price extras for me so I didn't feel blindsided. Thank you!!

Took a keratin treatment at this salon and it's been an amazing experience. Raj was patient, friendly and did a great job with the hair treatment. Booking an appointment prior to visit is recommended. The price is a bit expensive but value added coupons are available on sites such as Groupon and it's definitely worth it.

I don’t usually write reviews but this time it was  disappointing so i will share my experience. Firstly they made me wait for almost 1h to get started. And the lady said it was crazy busy at that time and their attitude was very friendly but never apologized. I felt the place was just unorganized. Because hairdresser left me with bleach on and didn’t come back after the timer rang.Bc of this, my hair got extremely damaged and it’s melting.... Also because I told them that i needed to leave salon at 4 bc i had work, and she said she will finish by it but still they kept me waiting for everything shampoo, dry, everything and it never finished on time. I couldn’t get trimmed and didn’t even finish blow dry.  And seemed like they blamed on me that we need to rush but they mede me wait for 1h in the first place...:/ i booked at 1 so we had 3h If only the result was good, i will be ok despite all of this BUT result is unforgivable, terrible , nothing like balayage at all, it looks uneven and i look like penguin.they should not put balayage on menu if they don’t have skills for it. And after i put 1star, they texted me to delete rating............ also they made excuse that hairdresser was sick.Seems like they always use the same excuse...

I seriously cannot understand how this salon has anything under 5 star reviews. I discovered the salon through Groupon a couple of years ago and unlike what some of the reviews state, the staff took their time to discuss the cut and colour I wanted. Priya looked after me and she made sure she discussed everything with me before starting. I have gone in multiple times since then for balayage, olaplex treatments, haircuts and styling. Each and every time I leave the salon I come out extremely happy with my look. Priya and Ying both are amazing and professional. As soon as you enter you’re offered tea and coffee and Are looked after til the very end. I have very fine thin hair but since going to the salon my hair has improved a lot. I hv recently bought a groupon for full color of balayage.  I am very happy with my hair cut and the entire process of my treatment being done by the lady, Ying who is absolutely amazing. She has done a great job. I would like to commend her for her patience and caring and professional.  I will definitely look for her again next time.  Appreciate if you can forward my feedback to her. These guys are dodgy and I would look elsewhere to get my hair done. This is not their first time, as I've seen other reviews saying the same thing. Do not ignore the comments and save yourself the headache later. They charged me double the amount listed on the deal that I purchased, I've emailed them about it with the receipt and got no response.  Not only that they charged extra but the keratin treatment I did made no difference to my hair. There are plenty of great salons in Melbourne, avoid this one!Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

Very average experience. In my opinion this salon is good at one thing - keratin, which involves following the instructions on the product. Choppy hair cut, average knowledge and middling prices. Wouldn’t advise coming here for hair cutting or bleaching. Ying does pay very close attention to detail though and is genuinely very nice. All in all keratin went very well but won’t be returning as there are likely better places I would frequent for the same service. The boss sounds awful as well to work for.Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

Totally forgot to take this place because it was SO GOOD. I used a deal so my services were a fraction of the price. The whole experience was amazing, the stylists knew what they were doing, so talented, and kind, just lovely people. We all walked out obsessed with our hair and it was completely undamaged. Won't to anywhere else again.
