It was a very busy night but the team handled well and still gave me a seat on a cold night. The staff are friendly and helpful. The meals were served timely considering the full house of guests. Serving is reasonable and tastes is good. I had a main vegetarian dish, dessert and ginger beer. Thanks team
Our favourite restaurant in Thredbo. I can recommend my prawns and blue cod. My companions were all well pleased with their choices. Pleasant atmosphere, sensational food. The tiramisu cocktail was insane but very moreish.
We had an excellent meal tonight! The taste and quality of the food as well as the portions were outstanding. We had the cheese balls must have, BBQ Ribs and a few different other cuts and a kids meal. Enormous amount for us and so tasty. The “garnish” was a beautifully dressed portion of delicious green salad. Can’t wait to to return to try more on the menu. The service was exceptional even at a very busy start of service. They fit us in to a free table without a prior booking with a generous smile. Chef and front of house… thank you all for a memorable visit; we will be back!
Staying at Thredbo for my partners birthday. The first week in February and it was freezing cold and snowing. The middle of summer and Thredbo mountain was capped with snow! So many places to eat here, so we picked Sante at random. We weren't disappointed. The lovely lady serving us even surprised my partner with a free glass of champagne for her birthday. A nice touch! Food was great. We both had the top Wagu steak and it was cooked to perfection. So tender. Softest piece of meat I've ever had. The steak knife sliced through under its own weight almost. Served with a yummy croquette. The cheese bread for entree was so good too. Beautiful food, great service and perfect atmosphere for a wintery night. Totally enjoyable and highly recommended! Thank you Sante and staff for a great evening.
The least recommended restaurant for skiing trip. 1/ it’s understandable that the cost is above average in snow resorts, but $55-75 for a really unworthy steak?? 2/ the steak was super chewy; we all ordered medium rare but it’s well done 3/ three of us ordered the same, but they somehow put one of the steaks a different one?? 4/ they charged higher than the price at the menu
The location is spacious and the team is very friendly and welcoming. I took off two stars as I ordered a steak medium well and I got it well done. The average price of a steak is $50,so I was expecting something more than what you can just get at a steak house. The one that my partner got was cooked to perfection, and the rest was really delicious.
Wonderfully delicious dinner where dish after dish was a fabulous surprise with great presentation and sensational flavour. Staff were very friendly and attentive - we thoroughly recommend Sante for a fantastic dining experience that will delight for sure, and leave you wondering how soon it is that you can 'Sante' again!!!!
The food was tasty and servings generous. A good selection of wines. It was a quiet night and could choose where we sat. Out waitress was friendly.
Best steak we have had for a while. Friendly and attentive staff and awesome winelist and a greta place to listen to the Threbo Blues Fest performers.
Best slow cooked ribs ever! Amazing steak as well! Do yourself a favor and check this restaurant out.
