Outstanding Service by HarleeynI had the pleasure of dining at Sankalp in Annerley recently, and the service I received from Harleey, the waitress, was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Harleey’s warm and welcoming demeanor stood out. She is of Indian origin and has an impressive knowledge of the menu, making it incredibly easy to choose the right dishes.nnHarleey took the time to patiently explain the various options and flavors, giving recommendations based on my preferences. Her understanding of the food, from the spices to the preparation methods, was remarkable. It was clear she’s passionate about the cuisine and genuinely enjoys sharing her knowledge with customers.nnHer attentiveness throughout the meal was perfect – always present when needed but never intrusive. Thanks to Harleey, the entire dining experience felt personalized and enjoyable. I highly recommend asking for her if you dine at Sankalp
This is hands down my go-to place for dosa! The quality is absolutely top-notch, and the ambiance is really welcoming. The staff are fantastic, always happy to refill the sambar—which, as a dosa lover, I really appreciate!nnI’ve also tried their goat, lamb, and chicken biriyani. They’re all right, not too bad not too good.nnWhen it comes to dosa, though, Sankalp is probably the best in Brisbane. However, I was a little disappointed with the idli-vada combo—the idlis were a bit too small for my liking nnOverall, it’s still a very satisfying dining experience, especially if you’re craving some excellent dosa!
We had amazing lunch here yesterday afternoon. We ordered the idli littles which came with Dahl and a selection of chutney, it was so comforting and hit the spot. The whole tandoori chicken was full of flavour and came on a sizzling platter. The chicken kadai was saucy which I’m not familiar with as I have ones that are slightly dry but it went down well with the butter naan and the garlic naan. The goat biriyani was really tasty. All our choices were ordered with medium heat so it was tasty and the heat did not overpower the taste of the food. I have previously eaten here a couple of times and I have not been disappointed. This is a good Indian restaurant and I highly recommend it. They have a great selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes making it great for a group of friends wanting different food choices. I will definitely be coming back.
Visited Sankalp Restaurant yesterday for lunch, and the trip was truly delightful. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the masala dosa, idli vada, paneer butter masala with butter roti, and spinach naan, and each dish exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor and quality. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the dishes to the quality of the cutlery, added to the overall dining experience. Reminds me of sankalp in IndiannFurthermore, the restaurant offered ample parking space, making it convenient for us to visit. The extensive menu provided a wide range of options to choose from, catering to different preferences. The sambhar served was particularly noteworthy for its delicious flavor and perfect spice level, and we also appreciated the variety of chutneys available. we would highly recommend it to others looking to enjoy authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine.
