It is our first time dining in this restaurant We where the only two people dining in this restaurant. I ordered mango lasi for drink Entree was really good However mains were not the best I've tried . Only major problem i had was flies hovering around our food and drink. It was at the end that i realized those insects into my drink after i almost finished it. I did showed the staff before i go she felt sorry .hope i wont get poisoned.this place needs refurbishment and need to take care of those insects.
Booked a table for 1930 turned up at 1934 the restaurant was packed with a few tables still full of used plates and bottles. This is a busy place both with dine in and takeaways. I waited 5 mins for my table. Was ok sat down and offered a bottle of water and some free popadoms and sauces. While reading the menu there were a lot of Uber/food delivery guys in and out of the sticking front door. Took a long time for old tables to be cleaned. I ordered my drink and meals and watched the comedy of people unable to open the front door. I ordered a 4 piece chicken tikka I forget the region one it was. I was hoping for more flavour it was good just not wow. I also ordered a chicken madras and asked for it hot, some basmati rice and the usual garlic nan. Rice was cold in a metal cold dish, was strange as the rice is normally warm. The madras had a nice gravy and the chicken was plenty. The only thing lacking was heat/spices. I ate what I could which wasn’t all that much, the garlic nan was very wet wether they used oil and garlic to paste on the flavour. It was a nice meal I think I paid around 56$ for it which is about right. Not really made me wanting to rush back. I may try again next time I’m down on business but will try something different next time.
Located in pleasant area, this place is good for a nice evening. Ambiance is nice with friendly staff. In arrival they will bring papadums with dips. Nanns breads are the best. They are so soft and tasty. One of the best naans ever had. Shahi panner is delicious. Tandoor items and butter chicken are best for chicken lovers. Don’t go for biryanis. Try naans and curries. The combination of curry and naans are delicious. After dinner, a small walk in the locality gives the perfect night. Definitely coming back.
First time trying this local gem tonight and we are really impressed. We ordered take away : Great friendly and timely service. When we walked in to pick up our order, we noticed how good the restaurant smelt, it was very clean and the decor looked lovely. The food was impressive. It was very fresh, colourful and we could really taste all the different spices. A really nice meal. Definitely will be our go-to for great local Indian food. Thank you ! :
Amazing food and even better service! We were having a big family event and with all the chaos of the night- my handbag was left behind and it was the beginning of New Years long weekend- these beautiful staff held onto my bag for 2 days and I got it back no issues- this on top of how tasty and delicious the food was- easy 10/10
We went on a group outing to a fully booked restaurant. It was mayhem! But the food when it arrived was surprisingly good! It was north Indian cuisine, rich, creamy and the garlic naan along with the curries was sublime.Food: 4/5
Located in the quiet suburb of Williamstown, this place serves good North Indian cuisines. The ambience was a bit dull but that's because you won't find much people visiting the place. Food is good though I was not sure why the Malai Chicken Tikka didn't have the essence of Malai on it. It seemed like just a normal Chicken Tikka. The Chicken Butter cream was really good and the Kashmiri Pulao was okay.
Would have given zero stars. Shop says clearly closes st 10.30 pm. When upon arrival was made left standing at the counter. The manager or the one who was in charge clearly communicating to the waiter girl to not take orders and send them away saying no staffs. Such an unprofessional behaviour and rude mannerism by the lady. Who ever the owner is should be ashamed to have hired someone like this person. Does the restaurant run for customers or to chase away hungry customers?
The food here is just incredible! The flavours are amazing and if you order the banquet, like we did, you get to try so many different dishes. Service is friendly, though not timely sometimes... but we were upstairs and a large group, so it was more understandable. We ordered Banquet C for 8 people... There was so much food left over, we took five full takeaway containers home. The entree was a plate each! Lunch the next day was awesome! Definitely go here if you're in Williamstown!
I was going to work & wanted to stop in for a meal before I began my shift. I called in & they had my meal ready for me when I arrived. Delicious vegetarian options & the naan was soft & flaky. I’ll come earlier next time to relax more.
