Free parking available. However, it's usually full unless you come here Sat & Sun morning.nnFrom Mon-Fri this is how the parking looks like from night to morning. I got lucky to find a spot just outside of the curb this morning 6am :/nnI haven't found a paid parking place near by the station. Only 2p parking. It would be handy to have more parking places as it offers good transit to commute.nnI was bit worried about reviews mentioning about parking is located on the other side of the train station.nnActually it's located right next to the station within 5 min walking. Give yourself extra time in case you are trapped by crossing nnGood luck finding a spot
Be VERY careful where you park, and for how long as to not get a parking fine. I had to take a disabled man into the city, and with over an hour in travel time alone, I'd parked slightly longer than allowed in a disabled parking space. AND I COPPED THE FINE! So now I'll have to find a park a long way away with no parking restrictions. Not conducive at all to caring for a disabled man with limited mobility. I asked Bayside Council WHERE I could park but they never replied. And I contested the fine, but to no avail. No empathy or understanding whatsoever!
I went to the Sandringham veterinary hospital with my cat and it was the only place to park as the vet was parked out.
Lots of parks, close to the station and quick walk to the beach!
Place is clean. Good lighting. Two policemen stand by. Ticket vending machine works well and desk agent is nice.
