I visited the emergency department with severe pain and was quickly and efficiently diagnosed and treated immediately. Everyone who took care of me, including nurses, doctors, and surgeons, were highly professional, diligent, and communicated every step clearly. In what was a stressful situation, I was reassured to be in very good hands and cannot thank all the team members more than enough
I recently gave birth at Sandi Hospital and had a great experience overall. The staff and midwives were super supportive and patient, and I loved how short the wait times were for regular doctor visits. The birth suite was clean and comfortable, and the nurses took good care of us. The only downside was the meals, especially breakfast, which didn't have enough fiber for a new mom. It would also be nice if they offered essentials like slippers, even if you had to pay for them.
Do not give childbirth here. You will be treated like you are in a third world country. They don't feed you, they are very forceful and rough with breastfeeding, they make unqualified nurse students use you as a guinea pig without consent making you think that your baby is dead because they can't figure out the machine to check the baby's heartbeat, they also just forget about you making you wait hours in a room not informing you about anything, making disgusting remarks about single parenting, letting in too many visitors who keep bumping into your new born, not closing curtains and just letting complete strangers go in and out of hospital rooms where people are half naked trying to breastfeed. This place has zero security, zero care, and zero compassion for any pregnant patient. Racist black nurse didn't believe me when I was very ill and luckily the white doctor treated me the black nurse felt bad or embarrassed and wasn't rude anymore. Avoid this hospital at all costs.
My wife recently had our first child at Sandringham. Really impressed with the team there all the way from the labour process to having us in the ward for a few days.nnThe team of midwife's are all supportive, knowledgeable and clearly really enjoy working at the hospital. Some of the hands on help for teaching things like breast feeding and changing baby was super helpfulnnThe midwife's seem to have a strong bond with each other as well so it comes across like a great place to work which is probably why it's a great experience.nnThanks for all your help.
We had our baby here. Midwife team are great. Our midwife team was led by Kerrie, she is fantastic, very patient and kind.nnIn the morning Amelia helped a lot in the morning. She is super kind.
