Well staffed station. There are 2 attendants on each side of the tracks. Hint: if you are going to the City, my suggestion is that you do not go into the station but walk to the right. through the bus terminal, then across the tracks and left up the ramp. this will save you a few minutes every day. I say this because if you do go into the station . through the turnstiles.. you then have to either wait for the lift. or walk up and down many stairs. over 20 of them. once you are up, you then walk across and over the tracks and go down again by the lift or the stairs. All that will delay your journey. . There is Ample drop off parking and even a close pick up lane. And there is a taxi rank there as well. with 1 or 2 taxis waiting for the arrival of the evening rush home..The bus terminal is attached to the station as well. There are 3 disability car spaces. oh yeah!! There is an all day free car park within walking distance of the station. All in all . this is one of the best run stations. that's my review.
Recent upgrade had brought it in line with modern stations with ticket gates and screens for timetables. Would not recommend utilising the bicycle racks however, as my bike was stolen from there last night. And judging by the number of bike locks attached to the racks without bikes, should pose as an indicator that bike theft is very common from this locale

Rude serve by that old man. Very rude. He also made me miss the train. I will tell everybody one my social media platforms about your service.nnNot a friendly guy. I am so angry with him and never want to see him again.nnMaybe he should go on long leave.
Quite a small train station, slightly unsafe feeling walking on the platform in peak times due to it's narrow size. Besides that, it's a lot better than it was prior to the 2013 upgrade. The station is generally clean and is well positioned and I love the old history they have tried to incorporate into the upgrade.
