Exceptional, fabulous complex! Visited today for the first time in years, and what a treat!nnI saw beautifully clean pools and facilities for both personal fitness and families; had a delicious salad for lunch at the cafe by the water front; chatted with friendly staff; and looked through the fabulous gym with the best views!nnThe whole complex has such a wonderful vibe, and it is evident by the numbers at the cafe and facility, that the Sandgate Aquatic Centre plays a very important role in the North Brisbane community.nnNext time you are there if you haven't done so already, take some time to look at the tiled collage of historical photographs.nnAn uplifting visit.
This relatively new and fantastic pool is a frequent destination for my kids and me. It offers a fun-filled day of swimming. Plus, the on-site cafe serves top-notch quality, allowing us to enjoy delicious coffee. Just a heads up, though, the parking can be a bit challenging on weekends due to the crowds.
Nice clean swimming pool. Very cheap. Friendly and helpful staff. I liked the heated swimming pool. 25 m. Not tiny like in other aquatic centres. Crowded. But it is understandable. Lovely location.
We had a great little time at the Aquatic Centre. We love the fact it's only $2 entry over the summer.nThe kids area was great for the kids. They also loved being able to swim in the deep 1.9mtr end of the big pool too.nnWill be back again.
My daughter, grandchild who is 21 months and I had a lovely few hours this morning at Sandgate pool, it cost $6 each to get in.nWe found a couple of plastic chairs in the shade even though it was quiet busy.nThere are quiet a few options available.nOne toddler pool, then another pool that suits primary age kids, but still has some toddler slides.nThere is a larger indoor pool also.nYou can purchase water and snacks from a vending machine.nThere are change facilities
