What a great find for lunch! Empanada were fresh, pastry crunchy, well presented and accompanied by tasty pickled cucumber. Flavoursome clam chowder was piping hot and served with delicious crusty bread. All washed down with a generous glass of pinot grigio. Mini banana cake and a good coffee completed a very pleasant experience enhanced by cheerful, friendly and attentive staff.
We went there on a beautiful Sunday morning only to find out that it was close. But when you search it on Google it will tell you that it is open. Prior to going, I try to call the number to double check if they are open but no one answer. I’ll also try to search their Facebook page, it doesnt appear on search engine. Maybe next time try to update your opening hours so that the public will know, there are heps of social media platform to update your info. Very disappointed, considering we drove all the way from Melbourne to Geelong.
The Sisig is so yummy. Ambience is so fine. Staff is so friendly. A true Filipino hospitality restaurant at the heart of Geelong.
