Story

My name is Samantha Egan
and I am a proud Palawa women.
My traditional country is the North East of Tasmania.
My family is from Cape Barren Island and my traditional grandfather was Mannalargenna. I enjoy producing modern styles of art that include some of the styles and techniques of my traditional ancestors. I also have a deep passion and commitment for encouraging others to enjoy the artistic styles and stories that are still shown in traditional aboriginal art today.
