Out of this world I highly recommend it!! We went for a fruit picking, 18 km out of Camden, and I was looking for a healthier restaurant when I came across Samadhi on Google maps. I loved that everything was vegan. I have tried probably all vegan restaurants in Sydney, and this is the winner! My husband is a ‘meat-etarian’ but couldn’t stop praising the burrito and said it was the best one he ever had; I had mushrooms - soo delicious. Kids had pancakes, and we even purchased some of their homemade food. Pure five stars, keep it going, team, and I hope you open a restaurant in Sydney, too
We visited Samadhi on a weekday and perhaps it was not too crowded which suited us as we were eight of us and there was only one table that could accommodate all of us. The food was nice and since it was vegan, we did not have to worry in terms of any items having meat and we could order anything. All of us loved the toasties and the kebab. The vegan pancakes were good too. The service was quick and efficient and we had a lovely time. We will definitely visit again
So I came to this place after a friend's recommendation. Earlier I thought it's an Indian restaurant, but when I saw it online and read their menu I realized it's a Vegan restaurant. If you don't wanna read a detailed review, and are wondering whether or not to go for this place. I would say please go, and enjoy their amazing vegan food. Firstly, staff is really friendly their. Lets come to food! We ordered mushroom chips, mushroom burger, Sausage roll, Samadhi bowl, Toastie and berry bliss smoothie. Mushroom chips were perfect for the winter weather and it was served with basil pesto, which was quite interesting and yummmm For those who would like to eat something healthy...go for Samadhi bowl..it was filling, healthy and tasty And those who are not calorie conscious, go for Mushroom burger and sausage roll, both were amazing and the star was capsicum sauce served with sausage roll. You can also ask the staff for extra sauce and have that with mushroom burger. If you like spicy then make sure to ask the staff to add chilli sauce to your burger. Toastie was also tasty and is good as a breakfast or if you are not much hungry. Lastly, berry bliss smoothie..I found that okayish..I would say I have had better and yummier smoothies. So not a fan.. But overall, really good food and it's just on the street of city Centre of Camden Town. I would definitely recommend this place and would go again myself : Already craving for that burger Can't wait to go back!
The mushroom burger and plant-based sausage roll were fantastic! I especially liked the capsicum sauce, so much better than plain old tomato or barbecue sauce. The pesto and slaw were perfect with the mushrooms. What a bonus to find food that tastes delicious and is good for you too. Right in the heart of Camden, with tables on the footpath so you can take in the views on historic Argyle Street. Everything here is just right!
I just ordered a Goodness Green Smoothie and it was SO DELICIOUS! Thank you for offering Camden something unique. I look forward to trying some food next time & the same smoothie of course .
Excellent vegan and vegetarian food and food that caters for those with allergies. Only change that my wife and I would love is to see it open earlier for breakfast. : A must try if you are in the area!
Local vegan cafe with takeaway options. I had the acai bowl which was a little icy as in chunks of ice when acai bowls shouldn’t be blended with ice but the granola was phenomenal so made up for that. Keen to go back and see if it’s even better second time around
Me and my mum visited here for the first time yesterday, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Rainbow Bowl and my mum had the Truffled Scrambled Eggs, we shared the polenta chips too and it was amazinggg !! The smoothies were super yummy too. Service was great, the aura of the cafe was relaxing and cozy. Definitely going to come here again, and would highly recommend
A truly lovely gem! Food was absolutely spot on - we had the mushroom bowl and a mushroom burger - mushies were lightly battered, wonderfully crispy and tasty. Ingredients were all fresh with lovely sauces. You could tell they cook from the heart. What a lovely meal : Thank you and all the best!
Omg! This is the place to learn that vegan food is the yummiest ever! Had the vegan Quesadilla and I must say the taste was perfection! We shared desert, a couple of raw cakes, absolute yum and worth to travel all the way from the city
