Quite big store, very clean and well organized. Quality of stock can be good, just depends on the day you come and your luck. I walked away with two beautiful vintage pieces, each cost a reasonable $9. Would recommend to check out if you are a thrifter visiting Alice Springs.
Wouldn’t be so bad if the music was so loud it wouldn’t be for old people. It’s terrible.
Was screamed at by a staff member for looking at a rack of clothing that apparently wasn’t for sale. How the heck was I meant to know it wasn’t for sale?nnMaybe the clothing should be priced out the back before it gets brought onto the floor! And if, for whatever reason, that can’t be done then at least put a sign on it, and don’t ever treat customers in such an awful way!!
I'm really sad to see this store go downhill. What was once a beautiful, well stocked Salvation Army store with friendly staff that made you feel like family, has now become a cold, security style store, that has nothing but $11 secondhand Anko items on the racks. The new manager is abrupt, and constantly appears to be flustered by simply serving customers. Another staff members appears to spend all day alphabetising the toy section, rather than helping customers check out. There is very little clothing on the racks that aren't absurdly priced Anko and Target. A boys jacket was available for $11 secondhand, which is currently for sale brand new for $9. Really hoping this store can go back to it's former glory!
Great new management! Amazing customer service and reasonable prices. I love to shop for a bargan and to see what is around. They have a lot of veriaty and it is well laid out. They have clearly marked out each section, the store is well organised and clean and tidy. When I donate next I will make sure I donate to the salvos. They really take care and have pride of what they receive.
