I ordered a beef Wellington and it was soggie on the outside and cold on the outside and piping hot on the inside as if it was microwavednnThis was a terrible expierence especially when the carrots potato's and mashed peas were cold to the touchnnThe chips were 50% salty and 20% stale fixed with fresh chips which is not idealnnOther than than that the atmosphere is amazing here and the place is busy I just wish this meal can get better with time
I had dinner here with a friend and we ordered a few basic dishes. The staff were lovely and very helpful to answer any questions.nnThe Turkish garlic bread came out as the entree hot and fresh! It was covered in a generous amount of butter and garlic and tastes delicious! Four slices $9nnMy friend had the Cesar salad for main which looked ok but appeared to be mainly lettuce.nWedges looked standard, mass-produced like the frozen bag kind.nnThe chicken schnitzel was plated nice, served on a bed of chips and a side of salad with a small ramekin of gravy, I love that they offer a full size options for $25 or a half serve for $17. The salad was ok, very average and unfortunately the chicken schnitzel and chips weren't crunchy, slightly soggy and lacked flavour. I would suggest changing the crumb, adding some love and flavour and cooking until crispy if you want people to come back.
Salute is one of the 3 dining options inside Ingleburn RSL club. I was expecting nice pub food as your would in some RSL clubs. The seafood grilled plate is an absolute waste of money, all you get for $30 are two small pieces of lobster tail, salmon and barramundi? and a tiny portion salad on side wouldn’t even call it salad, finished the whole plate in less than 5 mins! Not even fries on the plate how disappointing. To be honest in terms of portion it’s small, taste bland and price is expensive. What we did enjoy was the pasta dish and that was delicious.
The food here is great! The Spaghetti Bolognese is one of the best I've ever had. The staff are all friendly and do a fantastic job. Definitely a great place for a meal
Star rating for food average 3. We had nachos dreadful left 75% behind so 1 star. Wife had a bbq pork steak which was good although they don’t do mash potato only Childs so that’s a 4. Also has the prawn and bacon pasta only a 3 star we left 50% behind taste was ok. No rush to go back for a feed.
