What a lovely spot to break on a long drive! Not only is the food delish & sizeable servings, the tables out on the grassed area, under the shade of the umbrellas & trees, makes for a refreshing breather. Wonderful friendly smiley staff make you feel welcome!
Great place to stop for a bite. Excellent fish and chips.
Big Dog - 2 fish, 3 prawn cutlets, 5 calamari & great chips with lemon & tartare sauce delicious. Take the driveway to the parking bay for a hamlet of 4 cafes to stretch your legs, walk the puppy, visit the bathroom & of course a delicious meal
An absolute MUST stop when traveling the M1. Relaxing tranquil outdoor seating area out the back of the cafe. We had coffee and carrot cake not something I’d normally order and it was delicious. Cannot recommend this cafe enough 5/5.
We love this place and always stop when passing through - but today we passed and ITS ‘TEMPORARILY CLOSED due to illness. Not sure how long they will be closed and we wish them a speedy recovery and also hope to see the place welcoming customers again soon.
This is an oasis on the highway. We were so hungry and needing a nice meal for lunch and stumbled across the Salty Dog. Excellent food, great gluten free options, great drinks. Highly recommend it. Stop here, you'll love it.
